=========POV: Jeongin========

I reached for my bag and grabbed the extra gloves and put them on his hands and made sure the jacket kept him warm enough. I went over to Ivory and checked up on him and then when I saw that he was perfectly fine, I went back to check up on him.

I sat next to him and brushed my hand through the same midnight blue tinted hair I saw on that very night we met.

As I did so his soft breath would graze the bottom of my arm but I didn't pay much attention to that. My thoughts were flooding my brain from thinking of anything else, it was as if nothing else existed but him and me in this world.

As I was lost in thought I barely noticed Seungmin was getting colder and I need to find somewhere to go quick but it was a good thing I know an empty place we could go to and I put on my bag and put Seungmin on my back and walked over to Ivory.

I would put Seungmin in the main part of the saddle and I sat in the second bit and I then signald Ivory to get going and all I had to do is keep Seungmin leaning on me as I guided Ivory to the place.

As we were almost there I had to stop for a moment because I realized the area had someone around with their lights on so I went slow and went to the woods bit of the way which was a bit longer but got the job done.

Once we arrived it was still snowy from the storm but was also ever so slightly icy.

I tied Ivory up to the post near the back window and kept Seungmin on my horse as I went to collect firewood and as I put it in the house in a pile in the fireplace I saw a bucket and decided to fill it with snow to extinguish the fire if needed.

Once I got that set up I went back for Seungmin and set him next to the fire I was yet to start. I took his cloak off of him but and put it on him as a blanket and took mine off and used it as a pillow for him after folding it up.

I went back out and got two medium sized rocks and scraped them in a motion the simbuls were hit in and started the fire.

As I was making sure Seungmin was alright now I brushed my fingers through his hair yet once again.

As I did so I got lost in his unique features and how beautiful he was I forgot anything else existed until he started to ever so slightly have his eyes flutter open.

I would the take my hands out of his hair and saw him relax again and I decided I didn't want to wake him up and softly kissed his forehead before getting up and walked over to sit the the corner and just keep gaurd.

========POV: Seungmin=======

The next time I wake up, I'm laying in a room that is lit only by a small fire. I sit up, and look around, seeing Jeongin sitting in the corner.

He looks up at me, smiling once he sees I'm awake.
"You're up! About time, you've been out for at least three hours." I smile at him.

"Yeah but..Where am I, Jeongin?" He nods.
"Oh yeah. I found this empty house in a small village not far from the stable we were in. You needed to warm up so I started a small fire and layed you by it." I nod.

"Uhm-okay.." He nods back, and an uncomfortably comfortable silence falls over us.

"So, uh...About the last time we met, at my sister's wedding?" I start. Jeongin clears his throat and looks down at the floor, clearly blushing.

"That's...Well what about it?" He asks. I sigh.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about, Jeongin." He nods, flustered and clearly unsure of how to respond. After a moment, he says.

"I-I don't know how you feel..And frankly, I'm not even sure how I feel-" He's about to finish when there's a banging at the door.

"Hey! Who's in here?" A grizzly voice interrupts our quiet conversation.

"Quick, out the window. Ivory is tied to a fence post there." Jeongin whispers, as he throws a bucket of snow on the fire. I grab my cloak, put it over my shoulders, pull the hood over my face to hide my identity, and climb out the window.

I follow Jeongin to his horse. He helps me up onto the saddle behind him, and we get off with a running start. I wrap my hands around Jeongin's waist to keep from falling off the horse, but even when we slow down, I leave my hands there unconsciously.

"Jeongin...What are we doing now?" I ask softly. He sighs.
"I've rode through this land lots, there's many small villages littered through here. We could hop around from them for months till we find a permanent dwelling." I nod.

"Well, how long till the next village?" I ask. He looks around a bit at the snowy land then says.
"We shouldn't be far."
"Okay." I say. We slowly make our way through the powdery snow, weaving through the icy branches covered in snow.

~POV SWITCH~

I bang on the door of the only empty house in our village, that now has smoke coming through the chimney.

"Hey! Who's in here?" I bellow. I hear murmuring, then a bit of shuffling around as I try and open the door. By the time I'm in the house, the window is open, blowing in the wind. I see an empty bucket that used to be full of snow that is now on the logs in the fireplace.

I walk over to the windows. I'm about to pull the shutters closed when I see a snagged piece of cloth on the clasp. I pick it up, inspecting it.

It's made of an expensive cloth, most likely silk or chiffon. The only people who could have afforded something expensive like that would be royalty from around this area, which would consist of my brother and his family, The Kims, or the only other kingdom remotely close to here, The Yangs, which I am only seldom familiar with...
