Tee hunkered down as she waited for the soldiers to round the corner, guns at the ready while the girls were secured in the underground bunker. As soon as they rounded the corner, Tee's finger on the trigger, she was relieved to see the blue stripes on their battle gear. She stood and asked for a status report and received the news that all three establishments had fallen and that Kirk had sent their team to protect the base, while one was wiped out and the third was sent to aid at Tigereye base. Tee wiped the sweat from her brow as her heart raced. She tried to communicate with Kirk, Nop and Freen, but all comms were down.

It wasn't long before they heard footsteps approaching, knowing they were Tigereyes and there was no way of telling how many. Tee and the men took a defensive stance and waited.

"The girls is our first priority, so this is where we start." Sam said as she and Engfa parked their bikes a few blocks away so that they could go into stealth mode. "You know I'm coming with you." Mon insisted and Sam rolled her eyes. "I didn't expect anything less. Besides, I think you're safer by my side at this point. Too many Tigereyes drifting around.

They snuck up to the compound and tossed a hook and rope up against one far corner wall so that they wouldn't be seen entering the compound. From their perch on the thick wall they could already see a few gang members walking about and it made Sam nervous, not knowing how many to expect. She handed Mon a gun with a silencer and looked her square in the eye. "This is not target practice babe. This is the real deal. But you stay up here and you ONLY shoot when you see someone sneaking up on either me or Engfa, okay? With the silencer it won't be easy for them to know where you're shooting from, so stay hidden."

Mon nodded, taking in the information. She was nervous, but she knew it was time to be brave for her lover. Sam was hers finally and she was not planning on losing her now. Before Sam could say another word or turn around, Mon grabbed the front of her jacket and tugged her to herself, sealing their tumultuous emotions with a deep kiss. Sam reciprocated, knowing very well that things could go wrong. When they finally separated, breathless, Mon whispered against Sam's lips, "I love you..." Sam grinned like an idiot, not having heard those words in so long and hearing them from Mon just made them all the much sweeter. "I love you too." She whispered in return.

"Can you two lovebirds please stop and pay attention?" Engfa whispered harshly at her two companions as she scanned the grounds, already having spotted three guards standing around, probably on lookout duty. If three of them were standing on this side of the compound, then that meant there were more on the other side. Not to mention inside. "So what's the plan, Sam? Split up or stick together?"

"I think it's better that we stick together and take them out group by group. We might get overwhelmed if we split up." They slowly let another rope fall down the wall on the inside of the compound for them to manoeuvre back and forth over and on top of the wall. "Engfa, take the one on the far left. He hasn't turned around since we got here. I'll aim my bow on the one to the right and kill him at the same time as you kill your mark. The guy to the north will by that time realise they're being attacked. We need to take him out before he can make a sound." Sam made her plan clear and looked to Engfa for confirmation.

She nodded and grinned, "Make it a competition?"

"Fuck you", was Sam's simple response. "Now go, I'll stay up here."

Engfa, with her almost inhuman stealth, used knives as her preferred weapon. She could throw them like Sam could use a bow and arrow, and she was pretty good at slitting throats. As Engfa slipped down the rope, she silently crept her way through the shadows to her mark. When Sam saw the glint of Engfa's blade, she let her arrow fly towards her own mark. That was two out of three down and neither made a sound. They were lucky, because that meant the third guy didn't even notice one single thing. Engfa was about to creep up on him, but he turned her way suddenly. Sam, however, sent an arrow through his skull before he could make as much as a squeak.
