I couldn't believe it. I was standing right in front of my brother. He's gotten so much taller. It was a dream seeing him again. I could see his eyes watering as it falls down on his cheek.
The first thing that came out of my mouth was, "Surprise." so quietly. It was so awkward that we were just looking at each other... until he ran and hugged me.
He was breaking down in tears. Oh god, I'm tearing up too. It was just so heartwarming.
God, I felt so loved again.
Kevin let's go as he wipes his tears away. He was laughing as he did so and I watched him smiling at me so hard. "Y tu? Como estas? I know it's been 3 years." I laughed at the end of my sentence.
"Muy bien! Si, estoy agradecida por lo que hago con el football, you know. It's been rough pero I'm still here." He smiled as I did so too. "Y tu, hermana? How are your things like in Los Angeles and your career?"
"Yeah, good, both of them are good." I said chuckling. "Y tu? Que haces aquí con mamá y papa?"
"Oh! Vengo lo más para visitarlos." Kevin goes, "Come inside! Vas a morir de caliente." I go inside as Kevin helps with the suitcases and brought them inside and shuts the doors.
"Quien fuera, mijito?" My mother asked my brother. I slowly hid from the wall again before Kevin turning around confused. I mouthed him to go along with it.
"Nada, Mom, Dad, I want to show you something that will completely change your lives." Kevin says as he goes and grabs his phone to record.
"Kevin, I already told you, ya no quiero más juegos!"
"Pero es otra cosa! Sit on the couch and I'll explain." He says. Both of my parents were confused but say on the couch waiting for this supposedly surprise. By that time, Kevin was already recording.
