After watching Shrek, I bet you guys want an update when we finished. He said it was amazing with the red heart eye emoji.
It's been 3 years since we've watched a movie. I mean, I don't blame him. We had to watch movies over a FaceTime call while sharing a screen.
The last time we watched a movie, it was Nacho Libre. Our favorite scene had to be that one scene when Nacho was singing in the bathroom before his match. We laughed so hard on that scene.
But anyway, I was picking out my suitcase deciding on what to wear. I still haven't unpacked any of my shit. Hopefully I can do it tomorrow or something. I was too lazy to get change so my outfit for the day was my gray sweatpants and black hoodie... and my white socks.
I walked to my own bathroom to brush my teeth in my own bathroom before stepping into the kitchen. When I did, I made sure to wear slippers in the house.
"Morning, kid," Kevin starts as he was making smoothies. Kevin then gave me a glass of his green beverage. "Smoothie?" He offered.
"Oh." I mumbled, I wasn't used to this so I had to get used to it. "Yeah, thanks." I smiled at him as I took the smoothie from his hands.
"I made breakfast for us." My attention went to Kevin as he was washing his hands. I frowned at him with a smile because why would my sibling make food? But I still accepted the offer because it was sitting right there in front of me with amazing foods on the table. But as someone who was still shy and not used to being in my own country, I try to resist. "No, I... I probably shouldn't—"
"C'mon! Eat at least a little bit." Kevin insists. He's a caring worrying person when it comes to someone important who comes back in their lives. I mean, a small bite wouldn't hurt.
I start drinking the smoothie Kevin gave me, my eyes widened at how good it tasted. My hesitations soon faded away when he took a seat and dug in, starting with a slice of bread and a butter knife full of grape jelly.
"Ya vez? A little bit of food is good... I guess." He sighed in disappointment as I bite down the bread. "I might get a new car." I start. Kevin looks up at me. "Deveras? What kind of car are you thinking?"
"I was thinking like a Jeep wrangler or a Lexus?"
"Oh okay. When do you think of getting one?"
"Like tomorrow."
The next thing I knew was when Kevin almost spit his whole smoothie on the table. I look at him disgusted because he spilled drops of his smoothie that came from his mouth. Once he looked at me that I was disgusted, he cleaned his drops.
"So soon? Don't you wanna think before you buy something?" Kevin questions... worriedly.
"Nah, I think I'm good." I smiled sarcastically as he rolled his eyes. "Okay, but where?" He asked.
"Back in La ciudad." I said as I bit the last bite of my bread.
"Estas en serio? From here and back to the city is like 8 hours!" Kevin almost yells. "And you just got back so there really no rush and getting new things that quick."
"It's fine, Kevin, which means I'll get up early and go to the bus station to go to the city. Easy peasy!"
"Well, FYI, I'm not going all the way over there with you, Y/N." He groans. "Didn't say you were coming." I sigh. He's always the type of person to not do activity's with me other than playing games all day.
"Well, as your big brother, it's my job to protect you at all cost. I mean, imagine that someone were to come up to you, what would you say?" He shouts. All I did was just stare at him bluntly but then answered him, "It's fine, I'll put on a disguise."
"No, Y/N. I'll ask one of the gang to come with you." Kevin suggests but I so only deny, "Who?"
"That's why we're going to the fair with Memo. I want to see who you have fun with more. That way I can invite that person to go with you to the bus station. Deal?" Kevin explains, although I thought it was a bad idea but then agreed to where this was going to.
"Deal."
"Okay," He starts, getting up from his chair, "I'll be upstairs if you need me." He says patting my head and heading upstairs. I ran to my room and shut my door quietly so that he wouldn't hear a thing.
I figured that I wanted time to go by faster and then go to the fair with my brothers friends so I decide to unpack and put all of my clothes in my closet. I figured it would take at least 3 hours or so since I packed so many clothes.
