Angela's POV
I jumped out the shop as Jackson parks it. He walks over to Nolan and Lucy just like always while I make my way over to one of the food trucks before sitting down and waiting for Tim and Nyla
When they walk over Tim slumps down on the chair while Nyla sits down a little more gracefully. "What's up with you to Bradford" I say as he sighs
"Lucy is trying to set me up on a date with her friend" He bites into his taco as both Nyla and I slightly laugh at him
"And why would that be so bad?" Nyla asks
"Yea. We all know you haven't dated since you know who and maybe it would be good for you. Have a life outside of work you know" I explain as he shakes his head
"I'm honestly with Angela here" Nyla continues. "I would probably be good for you"
"Say you. I'm pretty sure you haven't dated since your divorce either" He say looking at Nyla
"Okey. First of all I was under cover for a big part of it. Pretty hard to go one first dates then and I have a child. That complicates the situation a bit" She argues back
"Both of you should go on some dates. I could be good for both of you. Like what is the worst that can happen. The it doesn't go well. Then move on from it" I say sipping my drink
"Oh and you are so vice and all. I don't see you going on dates every weekend" Tim say sassily
"Not every weekend but I try at least twice a month" I answer shrugging my shoulders
"And you don't get tired of going on first dates all the time or do you just go on the date to get laid" Nyla say leaning back in her chair
"Kinda rude of you to assume I only go out with people to have sex with them. But then again our dates usually leads to sex" I say with a small smile on my lips
"So you mean to say you are in a relationship with some dude and no one at the station gets to know"
"I don't have to tell the whole world who I'm dating you know and not a dude. A woman"
"Your dating someone?" Lucy says as the three rookies walk past. "Can we meet her"
"No. Y'all would just scare her away" I say defensively. No way in hell they are meeting my girlfriend
"If you haven't sacred her way then I think she will be able to hand us" Jackson says looking at the others who nod along
"I don't have to be scary. Only when you piss me off and you guys have a habit of doing so. She doesn't. She also isn't a big fan of loud noises and people" I really don't feel like sharing her just yet
"So what's her name and what does she do for work" Nolan asks
"I'm not giving you guys her name. We are cops I would never forget that. She does work at a dog daycare"
"How cute" Lucy awws "I love dogs"
"Okey. Get back to the shop" Tim says as he stands up. Me and Nyla follows
"So your dating a cute little dog lover or what?" He asks
"She is pretty normal sized and yes she is cute and love dogs. Now leave me and my relationship alone" I say walking to my shop. "You should totally go on that date with Lucy's friend tho" Then I jump in and close the door so I don't hear his response

After work I make my way to her house and use the key she gave me to get in. "Y/n baby" I call out when I have closed the door and kicked my shoes off
She comes walking out of the kitchen newly showered and sandwich in hand. "Hi baby"
She swallowed before giving me a smile and wrapping her free hand around my lower back. She gives me a sweet kiss as we smile at each other
"How was work?" She asks as she drags me into the kitchen and hands me another sandwich
"Good but I might have told Tim, Nyla and the rookies about you" I say grabbing a glass from the cupboards
"And the we're okey with you dating a woman and all" She asks carefully
She has had some problem with homophobia in previous relationships and with her parents
"Yea. Now that I think about it no one even pointed it out but they did kinda want to meet you but I told them no because I'm not ready to share you just yet" I say as I walk over to her smiling. My arms wrap around her pulling her just a bit closer
"You will never have to share me you know" She whispers back before kissing me
"I know" I whisper against her lips before kissing her again. "But I liked the thought of you being my dirty little secret" I smirk at her as we move out of the kitchen and into her bedroom
"I'm your dirty little secret now?" She asks playfully
"Well when I think about it. You are more of a sweet little secret" I say kissing her as we fall onto the bed. Me on top
"I will be whatever kinda secret you want me to be even tho we aren't a secret no more" She answers before pulling me into a heated and passionate kiss
