Introduction pt 2

It's been a normal and boring day for Melody. Her dad just left for a business trip, so he is gone for the week.

She's just chilling in her living room procrastinating because she doesn't want to clean.

Then somehow people start falling through her roof. Then suddenly the roof repairs.

"What in the.. where am I..?" Melody hears one of the men say, specifically the redhead.

"Uh I don't know how, so don't ask, but you're in my house" Melody says, which startles some of the people and they look at her.

Once they see her they look at her clothes with obvious confusion and some people turn their heads away from her, as if they are seeing something they shouldn't.

"Guys calm down. I'm not in undergarments or whatever you guys are thinking. You guys are in 2023 now" she tells them as if that's totally normal

They look at her with baffled expressions and nod their heads and start standing up from the ground.

She's not sure how they believed her so easily but decided not to question it. And she decides not to question how they fell through her roof.

"Do you know why we're here?" One of the men ask, who she is assuming is Jefferson.

"No I don't, I was living my life and you guys stared falling into my house" she says with a shrug

A few of them seem a bit taken aback with how she addresses him but they don't say anything

Suddenly her tv starts turning on and goes to Disney+. (Not sponsored)

And it goes to Hamilton. To say Melody was scared now was an understatement.

"What's that black thi- white- blue and white- yellow- why does that color changing object have my name on it?"

'Well it's not just your name, Hamilton can refer to me or ma as well, pa' someone thinks to themself

"Uh to answer your first question it's called a television, for short a TV. I don't know how to explain it but basically you can watch things on it. Like how you have plays and you have to watch them live, a tv allows you to watch something that already happened." She tries to explain.

This just causes more questions to follow but then a woman, who she assumes is Eliza puts a hand on his arm.

When he turns to face he furrows his brows a bit and takes a step back and Eliza just stares at him with a shocked and baffled look

"-Wait, before I explain why your name is on there, can you guys all tell me who you are? I think I have a good idea but I need clarification, and what year or years? I'm Melody by the way" she says

No one says anything for a moment, much to her dismay. They probably don't know who should start. Then after a a moment one of them speak up

"My name is Alexander Hamilton, it is a pleasure to meet you Melody. I'm from the year 1775." He decides to start

Everyone gives him a slightly surprised look before moving on

"George Washington Miss. I'm from 1783. Good to meet you"

"Marie-Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette, Miss Melody. You may call me Marquis de Lafayette though."

"Uhm can I just call you Lafayette..?" She asks him

Lafayette shrugs a bit and nods his head "Oui, of course. Oh and 1783 as well"

"Hercules Mulligan, I'm from 1783 too"
