"And I'll dream each night of some version of you that I, might not have but I did not lose" ~ Stick Season by Noah Kahan

Sebastian was finishing his breakfast when he heard the sound of apparition outside the house. He grabbed his wand, before he heard the voices of Natty and Imelda reaching the front door.
"Well I'm not going to be the one to tell him," He could hear Imelda's loud voice before he heard the knock at the door.
He put his dishes in the sink before he answered the door. Natty and Imelda were standing there in their auror robes. He assumed they would be teaming up on this next mission. He didn't even get a proper greeting in before Imelda pushed past him into the house, walking towards the study.
"Sallows!! I'm home!" Her scottish accent echoing throughout the house. He turned back to Natty, who was shaking her head before she spoke to him.
"Apologizes Sebastian, you know how she is. How are you?" She closed the door behind herself.
"Reyes has been treating this like her own home since we moved in. I wouldn't expect anything less," Sebastian started moving towards the study with Natty following him. "So what was Reyes yelling about not telling someone something?"
Natty smirked like she was in on some great big secret.
"Let's get to the study, we have an update on the Angel mission." Sebastian let her enter the study first, to see Anne and Ominis were already in there with Imelda catching them up on something he couldn't bring himself to care about.
"Okay, so we wanted to let you know that we finally got a healer assigned to our group," Natty began speaking. Anne spoke up.
"Oh that's great! I'm assuming the Ministry is planning to send us out as a team of six since they already assigned us together?" Natty nodded her head.
"Yes, they couldn't join us today as they are completing some stuff at the Ministry but luckily you guys already know them." They all looked to Natty, wondering what familiar face would be joining their team.
"And who is..." Ominis wasn't even able to finish his question before Imelda cut him off.
"Oakes!! It's fucking Oakes!" Imelda starting laughing hysterically. Sebastian was sure Anne had already told Natty and Imelda about what he did. Ominis and Anne quickly started laughing along with Imelda.
"Haha hilarious. Can you grow up Reyes? We're adults we can work together civilly." Sebastian rolled his eyes at the idiots he calls family.
"Oh Sallow you don't get it, Oakes hasn't stopped talking about you. You think she would've gotten the hint after you disappeared by morning and haven't talked to her since.." Imelda cut herself off with another round of laughter. Sebastian giving Anne a glare at how much she had shared.
"Can we just focus on the mission please?" Sebastian let out in an aggravated grumble.
"Yes, darling leave Sebastian alone. He's already going to have to deal with her when she joins us." Natty said with a smirk, causing Sebastian to throw his hands up as he sunk in a chair.
"Right let's get to it," Ominis started out their debrief of their meeting. "The Ministry is sending us to investigate the disappearances off Ministry workers. After someone had stumbled upon old cases within the archives, they have reason to believe there is connection to the Dark Angel. People are going missing in the same way they did back when this trafficking ring was taken out around 7 years ago. They want us to scope out the muggle areas workers have gone missing, to see if we can catch the culprit in the act."
