Arriving At The Rumble: Pleading With Riff (Tony)

Shortly after he and Graziella had talked,Tony was on his way to the rumble to try to put a stop to it once and for all. Being best friends with Riff,Tony knew that trying to put a stop to the rumble wouldn't be simple. It was going to be a challenge even though he's always been stronger than Riff physically,it would still be hard. Tony wouldn't reveal that Graziella was going to be there as well. He didn't want him to be aware of that.  Can he do what he came to the rumble for or no? Can he along with the assistance of Riff's girlfriend Graziella stop this from happening before anything horrible happened? He felt a  despairing feeling brewing in the pit of his stomach as he wondered about that.

He entered the place and the Jets took notice and then things were about to begin. Tony was trying to put a stop to this but nobody was willing to relent from this. It was not going to be simple to try to put a stop to this and Tony immediately knew that but he was determined. Because there's no way this ends good for anyone. After being pulled away and held back by the Jets at Riff's order after they grabbed a hold of him,he fought with all his might to get free but he knew it was pointless. 

He hasn't been in command of the Jets ever since he went upstate for a year and then came back and that automatically made Riff the leader of the Jets so they were more than likely going to listen to Riff now instead of their former leader. He watches in horror as both gang leaders (Jets:Riff Sharks: Bernardo) got switchblades and began to go at it and that only made Tony struggle harder to break free. He finally got free and ran forward towards his best friend and grabbed him,"Ok. That's enough." Riff struggled and said,"Tony. Tony. Tony. Let go! Let go!" Tony refused,"I am not letting you go Riff. I don't want to see you lose your life or be sent upstate either." Riff struggled,"Let go of me! Let me go! Tony. Let me go!" Tony said,"Please stop this before I lose you or anything like that buddy. Please just stop the rumble right now."

Riff fought with all his might to get Tony to let him go but Tony's always been stronger than him. Tony said,"Please Riff. Don't do this. I can't let you do this. Buddy boy. This could end tragically for the Jets and me if we lose you. Or this could end with you sent upstate. I know it's happening but this is the last chance to back out before anything happens. Listen to me buddy,I'm begging you." Riff said,"No! Let me go right now Tony!" Tony said,"I don't think I will let you go. You're out of control and I have to stop you from getting badder then the rumble. I am not trying to betray my best friend,what I am doing is trying to protect my best friend. I'm trying to keep you alive,safe."

Riff stopped as he pondered Tony's words. Tony was always protective of him. Riff was still not going to stop the rumble. Tony said,"I need you to stop it right now. Buddy,I can already imagine how the rumble ends and I don't like what I'm imagining about it. But if you listen to me, you'll be safe,alive. I think I can handle you getting sent upstate instead of you losing your life because of this. Riff please." Riff didn't listen to him.
