Arriving the palace, Vi went into the garden where she worked with females. They were in charge of caring for the plants and all forms of gardening especially for the black roses which were a favorite of The Vakian's. She is head gardener.

She had always wanted a garden of her own as a teenager, even when asked about future ambitions she'd always chosen Botany without sway. It almost became a rule in the family to only get her books about plants. She had no idea fate would play such a cruel trick on her.

She made friends with all the slaves working with her,she made sure that they were well taken care of with the help of her mother, they were given food from the ones she and her mother brought from home and the slave also were given a friend who sees the as equal and human like themselves and not lesser beings or walking food.

Violet and her friends always made sure that garden was organized in other to avoid any trouble.

Today was just like every other day and they were lucky to finish their work early. They all went to the east side of the palace garden where the stream sparkles like crystal to eat the food Violet brought for them.
While eating the girls made mention of the arrival of Xavier who was expected to be arriving any day from now she was confused since she had never heard of the name being mentioned before,
'who this is Xavier? And why are you scared of him?' Violet questioned the girls all stopped and gave violent a look as if she had nine heads Mercy who is the oldest among all the girls (twenty five years) and two years older than Violet chocked while eating before replying her 'Master Xavier as we call him out of reach is the last born of Comfort and Klaxon Pierce Vikans' Mercy replied as if she was reciting what she had crammed.

Violet rolled her eyes and said 'And I should shiver because he is another lousy bloodsucking pest? huss'
All the girls looked at Violet as if she had just committed an abomination. Lea who was the youngest (nineteen years) among them all said
' V, you lucky that you don't leave in the palace like we do if not you'll know better than to talk about master Xavier,if the other masters hear what you said they'll make sure you are punished, Because he is not only what you call him he is the last of the originals living of the first family living,others you see around are the ones being changed into vampires centuries ago.'

In order to keep them from discussing and arguing any further about the great Xavier's she changed the to flowers and a lot of things of nature which made the girls eager to learn and discuss about it.
