Chapter Eight

I have had my suspicions that my mother didn't get that Selena wasn't my girlfriend. This day I knew for ?sure. She was talking about my cousin who is nine months older than me and her boyfriend. Don't even get me started on him.. *rolls eyes* Anyway she made a remark saying how when you're in a relationship you'll want to be with that person.. I'm sitting on the floor looking at her, like did you really just say what I think? I got up and walked away trying to contemplate my plan of action. Two minutes later, I walked back to the family room and flashed Selena's picture in her face. My tone was very close to the point where I was going to start yelling. And I told her see I am in a relationship, I have been for almost two years! Of course after all that when I knew Selena was home I told her about it.

Now I believe my mom gets it, that I am in a relationship. She's not just a friend. I think the only thing she doesn't know is that I am going to marry this girl. My friends and Selena herself know but, family doesn't. It's not like they really need to anyways because I know if I were to say anything I would be fed with religious bullshit and it would just piss me off... and probably give me high blood pressure. I don't really need any of that right now. Thanks.

In all seriousness, I am going to meet Selena. Probably not then but, soon I will propose to her. I have a few ways that I intend to go about it too. Everyone just has to stay out of my way for all of them. I will marry her. Selena is the only quirky person I want to spend my life with and I'm the only weirdo she wants to be annoyed by for the rest of her life.
