WHY DON'T YOU AGE?

AUTHOR'S POV

School went like the same as always, studying and talking with Tzuyu about random things and all that. Now it was time to go home. You bid your goodbye with your bestie and walked to the school gate and there you saw Heeseung waiting for you as usual. A small smile appeared on your lips as you saw him. You ran to him.

Yn : Heeseung!
She exclaimed as she hugged him tightly.
Heeseung just smiled and hugged her back. After breaking the hug he asked
Heeseung : how was your day?
Yn : It was good. But now I'm tired.
Heeseung : ok then, let's go shall we?
He asked while smiling.
Yn just nodded her head like a kid and Heeseung grab her wrist lightly as they started walking home.

AT HOME

After reaching home you straight went to your room to fresh up as Heeseung went to the living room.

You finished and went downstairs as you noticed Heeseung in the living room you went up to him and stood infront of him staring.

HEESEUNG'S POV

I was reading my book peaceful until I noticed a presence infront of me and I knew it was yn but she stood there staring at me and I decided to ask her what happened.

Him : why? Why are you just standing there and staring at me? Got something to ask?
Yn : Actually yes!

The moment she said yes I actually got a little worried about what she's going to ask me.

Him : what is it?
Yn : ummm.......... Well this might be a weird question but do you not age??

I was just staring at her without answer, totally spaced out by her question. Why does she ask this? Does she know something? Did she find out about the past? A lot of questions were on my mind but I was snapped out when yn called my name.
I looked at her and she raised her brow at me demanding an answer.

Him : what do you mean by that question? Everyone ages yn and some are just lucky to be seen young despite their really age.
I tried to explain my answer.
Yn : Oh really? Is there someone else as lucky as you??
Him : what do you mean?
I was purely confused by her question now.
Yn : oh come on, how can you always look so young? You know what, I still remember when I was in pre school people would ask me if you were my father and I would say no and told them you're my uncle.
Him : you told them I was your uncle? You told me I look so young and yet I'm an uncle to you?
I said as I acted as I was hurt by her words.
Yn : well yea...... but then when I was in middle school people ask me if you're my bro and I still said yes and now....
She paused.
Him : and now what?
She intensively stared at me before continuing.
Yn : now they ask me if you're my boyfriend.

I was not taken back by what she said.

Him : and what would you say to them?
I asked with a little hope.
Yn : well, it depends on who is asking. If those mean fangirls of you are asking me that then I would say yes.

I was now trying to hide my blush.
I can't believe she actually tell people I'm her boyfriend even if I'm actually not her boyfriend. But my happiness didn't last long.

Yn : if a boy asks me whether you're my boyfriend I would say no.

And now I was looking at her like she did some crime.

Him : why would you say that?
Yn : well I need to secure my future.
Him : what do you mean "secure my future"?
I asked as I was trying to hide my pain and anger.
Yn : well, in the future I need to date someone and marry so...... Yea.

I didn't know what to say anymore so I just my head back to my book reading it.
Yn came and sit next to me but I didn't even glance at her as I was angry.

Yn : how old were you went you took me with you?
I was taken back by the question. If didn't know what to answer.
Him : ummm- well..... I was uh- 17. Yeah I was 17 when I took you in.
She seemed satisfied with my answer.

YN'S POV

When he answer me I was satisfied but still shocked as he took me in at a young age.

You : wow, we have 12 years age gap.
I said while gasping a lit bit to make it seem dramatic.
Heeseung was just staring at me with a "so what?" expression.

You : now that I'm 17, you would be like 29. Ohhhh, you're do old but still look young.
Now Heeseung looked a little irritated maybe because I called him old. Hehehe.
Heeseung : Don't call me old. 12 years age gap is not that big.
He said while giving me a side eye.

HEESEUNG'S POV

I told as 12 years is not a big age gap. Well it's not comparing to the age gap between 17 and 1023.

As I was thinking I heard her whispering something.
Him : did you say something?
Yn : no I didn't. Well I'm going to study.
She went away like that living me confused but I just shrugged it off and continue reading my book.
