THE KING

NEXT DAY
AUTHOR'S POV

Yn woke up due to the sound of her alarm. She got up and get ready to school.

She went down to see heeseung making the breakfast.
She went to the dining room and sit on the chair. Heeseung also sat down after making the breakfast.

While eating the breakfast yn spoke.

Yn : do you want to talk about what happened yesterday?
She asked softly.
She was worried about heeseung since yesterday as she had never seen him crying for once in her lifetime.

Heeseung : It's nothing yn. Leave it.
Heeseung said without looking at her.
Yn : I need to know why you cried. I have never seen you cry.
She did raising her voice a bit.

Heeseung : don't raise you voice yn.
He said sternly.
Yn : I'm sorry. I was just worried about you.
She said looking down.
Heeseung : *sighs* it's ok. You don't have to worried about me. Tbh I was just worried about you yesterday that's why I cried.
He said slightly smiling.

Yn : you cried because of me? Wow I didn't know you love me that much.
She started teasing him.

Heeseung : ofc I love you so much idiot.
He said shaking his head a little bit.

Yn was stunned to speak when he said that. She could feel the blush on her cheeks.

AT SCHOOL

Yn and heeseung reached the school.

Heeseung : Hey come home today. Don't wait for me. I have work to do so I'll be late.
Yn : ok bye.
Heeseung : bye. Take care.

Yn went inside the school as heeseung went back to the house.

Yn was just going to her locker when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned back and saw Han.

Han : good morning yn!
He said cheerfully smiling.
Yn : Good morning.
She smiled back.
Han : How are you?
Yn : I'm fine?
She mentally face palmed herself because it come out as a question rather than an answer.

Han : oh ok. Let's go then.
He did while interlocking his arm with her and pulled her to the class.

Yn was shocked to speak. She has never had interacted with other boy who is not heeseung. But she felt like she can trust Han. And the most difficult part is to keep their friendship a secret from heeseung.

HEESEUNG'S POV

I was here. The place where I once called my home. The place where I used to love but hate at the same time.
The house or should I say a hidden world of vampire clans and other creatures.

I was making my way to the castle. The village looked pretty now but it wasn't like that before. Everything in this world had changed now and it's more beautiful. Everyone seems happy. Guess my friend had been a great ruler.

I enter the castle and told the guards to tell the king about my arrival.

Guards : you can come in.
He said as he lead heeseung the way.

??? : You can leave.
He told the guard.

The guard left.

Heeseung : greetings my highness
He said as he bow.
??? : Stop it heeseung. You know you we don't do that here.
Heeseung : *laughing* why not you're my king.
He again teased him.

??? : King or not. You're my friend and I don't need such great respect. I know you don't respect me as a king your just doing this to tease me.
He said sulking.
Heeseung : that's ryt I don't respect you. I'm just teasing you.
??? Looked at him with widen eyes as he heard him saying that.

??? : You really don't respect me huh.tch
He sulked again.
Heeseung just laughed seeing his friend.
??? : Anyways, I haven't seen you for years. How are you?
He said as he hugged heeseung.
Heeseung : I'm doing good. What about you Jungkook?
He said as he hugged him back.

Jungkook : I'm fine as always. What's with the sudden visit anyways?
After he asked that question the atmosphere became serious.

Jungkook : what's wrong hee?
Heeseung : *sighs* they know. They know about her and is after her now.
Jungkook eye widen after hearing it.

Jungkook : wait. Who's after her now?
Heeseung : what do you mean? You know who wants her.
Jungkook : I killed him heeseung.

It was Heeseung's turn to be shocked.

Heeseung : wait what?
Jungkook : yes. I killed him that night after coming back because he didn't believe my lies.

After a few seconds of silence Jungkook spoke again.

Jungkook : how do you know if someone wants her?
Heeseung : I saw lino yesterday.
Heeseung explained everything to Jungkook.

Jungkook couldn't believe what was happening as he killed him.

Jungkook : I can't believe this. How could this possibly be happening?
Jungkook ran his finger through his hair out of frustration.
Jungkook : I killed him that night. Who is this person?
He asked heeseung.
Heeseung : I don't know. I thought you would know.

Jungkook sighed.
Jungkook : listen to me carefully heeseung.
Jungkook began to speak and heeseung listen to him.

After Jungkook finished.
Heeseung : I CAN'T DO THAT!
He yelled a little at his friend.
Jungkook : hee, I know you love her but this is the only thing we can do to save her.
He said putting a hand on his friends shoulder.

Heeseung : but what if it doesn't work work? What if they don't care about it and still decid to kill her?
Jungkook : everyone knows if they do that they will be banished. No one has the right to touch something that isn't theirs.
He said seriously.
Heeseung sighed and looked at his friend and in return Jungkook gave him a reassuring smile.

Jungkook : we will find him. Who ever he is. Just be with her at all time.
Heeseung nodded.

Jungkook : well since you came I guess we can spend a little time together. If you're not busy.
Jungkook smiled.
Heeseung : yes. I would love that.
He smiled back at his friend.
