Rieka woke with a sharp pain in her stomach. She whimpered shooting up in bed. Avalon howled out as rieka pushed the blankets from her seeing crimson on the sheets.
"Oh my..." riekas tripped out of bed pulling up her night dress up seeing the smearing red down her thighs. Blood. Avalon howled out. She never howled at night unless something was wrong. Cersei heard the howls echo so did tommen.
"I will check out the howling your grace." Tommens guard ser Barnes remarked when tommen got up.
"Maybe rieka is in trouble." Tommen countered. "She is to be my wife."
"You were pregnant with tyrions child." Cersei realized.
"I was." Rieka agreed. "I suppose this is better... cant have a bastard on the throne right?" Cersei held onto rieka as she sobbed.
"No one can know. Not tommen. Not the council. Not jaime." Cersei whispered as she held rieka.
"I know. I know..."
"Rieka-"
"We have to push the wedding." Rieka mumbled.
"You have the flu. A heavy moons bleeding." Cersei agreed. "Honey im so sorry. You understand why it has to be this way, don't you?"
"Yes." RIeka agreed. Although she was wed to Tyrion, he was considered a traitor to the crown. Her father and her bloodline was as well but this was different. She understood why they needed to keep this hush hush.
"Rieka I heard Avalon." Tommen remarked. "What happened? Is that blood?"
"An intruder came in." Cersei agreed. Rieka looked to her confused what happened to the flu?. "Avalon fought them off. Rieka is a bit injured my dear. Call upon the maester."
"Rieka-"
"Im okay." Rieka whimpered.
"Get the maester." Cersei repeated.
"Ser barnes get the maester. Put the castle on high alert. We will find this man." Tommen assured moving to riekas side. "Thats a lot of blood."
"Im okay..."
Cersei snapped her fingers demanding a bath and some tea be brought in. Tommen refused to leave Riekas side.
Rieka stripped and got into the bath the clear water bleed red around her. Tommen stared at her as she clipped her hair on the top of her head and sunk into the water. Her ears peaking out.
"Shes going to be okay. Right mum?" Tommen whispered.
"She is a fighter. She will be okay." Cersei agreed.
Tommen was the sweetest in the week to come - and he was already so sweet to her, - he spent every day doting on her. Rieka wanted to cry and smile. She lost the last piece of Tyrion she had left but Tommen was the sweetest. It was hard not to fall in love with him. Even though he was younger than her, she supposed she was about the same age gap with Tyrion. But maybe it was because Tommen was Brans age. She missed her little brothers, Theon killed them off and she was miserable, her brother, her twin killed her mother killed, her father too... Tyrion gone. She had to stop thinking about Tyrion but it was hard when he was the one stability in her life for moons.
"Rieka," tommen said happily, putting down the tea beside her. She out down her book and smiled. "How are you feeling today?"
"Much better. You are so kind Tommen." Rieka remarked. He grabbed her hand and she leaned over kissing his cheek.
"I hope you dont mind me visiting you every day. I just didnt know what to do with myself without you."
"I love when you come to see me." Rieka assured. "You are so sweet Tommen. Never a met a man as sweet as you."
"Well i can trick him," Margaery declared.
"I dont think its that easy," olenna countered.
"No? Why not? He is a boy. I can seduce him. I am a woman. Rieka doesnt have my figure. My curves." Margaery declared.
"No but she holds his heart already." Olenna corrected. Margaery huffed a breath annoyed.
"But I was to be queen!" Margaery whined.
"The vows have not been spoken. The titles not yet decreed. We still have time."
