(A/N: Yes, I know technically, if afo didn't kill Nani she would have died by now anyway, but fuck it, it's my au, so it's my rules. And in this au, I say ofa doesn't rapidly age its user!)

Izumi Yagi was smiling as she was told her quirk was a mutated form of her mom's telekinesis. Izuku was standing, waiting for the doctor to tell him his quirk. Would it be like Izumi's quirk or would it be strength based like his dad?

"He's quirkless," The blonde girl looked at her brother, their green eyes shared a look of confusion.

"WHAT!?" Inko and Toshinori gasped. Toshinori was at a loss for words. Inko continued- "How could my son be quirkless, when both of us have quirks?!"

"You are both fourth generation quirk users correct?"

"Mhm," Both parents nodded.

"Well, while still not fully understood. Early quirk research linked the development of quirks to a lack of a second toe joint. See this x-ray?" The doctor pointed to a scan of their son's left toe. "Your son possesses a second toe joint, along with 20% of the current population. So, he will never develop a quirk... ever."

"That's ridiculous!?" Inko growled, as she stood up. "Toshi, Izumi, Izuku, we're leaving!"

"Ok, mommy!" Izumi and Izumi said, simultaneously. Toshinori nodded, as he stood up. Inko stormed out of the hospital.

At home, Izuku and Izumi had been sent to their room. Inko was seething. Her husband was the number one hero, and she was the number three hero, right behind Endeavor and constantly rivaling for three with Hawks. She could NOT let anyone know she had a quirkless son!

Her and her husband's her rankings would drop terribly if word got out they had a quirkless son. But she couldn't just leave him at an orphanage, they'd ask who were his parents. She couldn't keep him HERE!? Inko hadn't realized she'd been muttering, until her husband put a hand on her shoulder-

"Honey?" Toshinori sighed.

"What?" She asked, gazing up from her seat.

"If you really think we can't handle having a quirkless son-"

"We can't. If our agencies drop in ranking we won't be able to put food on the table and afford our house."

"Please," Toshinori got Inko's attention. "Let me finish."

"Fine," Inko rolled her eyes.

"We could always give custody of him to Nani-sensei."

"My mother?" Inko sat up, with a questioning look. "But she lives in AMERICA!?"

"Exactly," Toshinori smiled. "Everyone who knew Nani as 'Ms. Flight', thinks she's dead. No one knows she's the mother of two children."

"Don't mention my bastard of a brother. You know how he treats his kids. Speaking of, why can't we save Tenko and Hana?"

"We don't have any evidence, dear. We are bound by laws. And if he finds out we know about his abuse..." Toshinori trailed off.

"He'll do worse, and hide it better. I know."

"Then, please. Give Nani-sensei, Izuku. She doesn't have to worry about a quirkless kid ruining her reputation. America is much more open-minded than Japan."

"You have a point," Inko sighed, as she stood up. "IZUKU! Dear! Please come downstairs."

Izuku and Izumi had been playing in their room, when they heard Izuku's name being called. Izuku smiled, and said he'd be right back, little did he know... Those would be the last words he said to his sister for a LONG while.
