Some Hero I turned out to be (Part 6)

kelvin led Benie to a near by gas station.

Once there he drew her attention to a vending machine filled to the brim with tons of mouth watering candy which make Benie's stomach rumble uncontrollably with hunger.

"Men, I really wished I didn't spend all my allowance on buying Brain Basher IV" said Benie.

"Wait, you like Brain Basher?" Said Kelvin a little shock to hear a girl say she likes a video game filled with guts, blood and zombies.

"Yeah why?" Asked Benie.

"Isn't that game a bit too violent for you" said Kelvin.

"Please, I'm a girl that watched Beware the Unknown five times without even so much as flinching through out the whole" said Benie.

"What? That movie it banned in seven countries for being way too scary, they say it made grown men wet there pants and you watched it five times" said Kelvin, finding it hard to believe the Benie could survive watch movie as scary as 'Beware the unknown'.

"Yeah, that movie was messed up. I couldn't sleep right for days" said Benie with a light chuckle.

"How did you even manage to watch it, I know no same parent would let there kid watch such a movie" said Kelvin.

"Stilts on a trench coat and a fake ID" said Benie.

"What and how?" Were the only words Kelvin could fathom to say  as wondered just how strange the girl that stood before him was.

"You don't want to know, let's just say I'm ban from most theaters" said Benie with proud smirk before her stomach started rumbling again.

"Why didn't I resist the urge to bathe in the blood of the undead while constantly bashing their heads with a flaming baseball bat" said Benie.

Kelvin, pretending like he didn't hear the disturbing words that came out of Benie's mouth approached the vending machine.

"Hey Benie, wanna see a neat trick" said Kelvin with a smirk on his face.

Benie just looked at him with confusion and slight intrigue.

Kelvin then went to the back of the machine.

Benie wasn't entirely sure what Kelvin did, all she remembered seeing was a flash of blue like and the sounds of electricity sparking then all the snacks fell out from the machine.

Benie was about to ask what he did to the machine but was stopped before she could utter a single word by Kelvin saying, "Hurry up and get as much candy as you can..."

Kelvin was interrupted  by the sound of the own of the gas station, a middle aged man stepping out of the gas station, spotting Kelvin and Benie before yelling with throbbing veins, "IT'S YOU AGAIN AND YOU BROUGHT ANOTHER BRAT WITH YOU. HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TELL YOU TO STOP STEALING CANDY FROM THE VENDING MACHINE!!!!!"

Kelvin then quickly picked up as much candy as he can along with Benie, who despite the fact that she was well aware stealing was wrong was too hungry to leave the pile of delicious candy on the floor.

Benie and Kelvin grabbed much candy as could before fleeing the scene, running off just as the upset middle aged man chased after them to stop them from stealing the candy.

Benie and Kelvin managed to out run the man and his in an alleyway.

"You're... pretty light...on...your feet...for a girl" said Kelvin while panting profusely.

"Too tire... exhausted...and hungry...to think...of a... comeback" Benie said before collapsing on to the side of a wall.

Seated with a back leaning against the wall Benie before out the candy she took and then proceeded to stuff her face, filling her mouth with as much candy as she could.
