Luke looked straight into the eyes of the dagor in front of him. It began to chuckle before reaching down and picking up the axe a few metres away. The dagor let out a roar and started charging towards Luke with the weapon in both hands. Luke stood still simply smiling at the dagor who stopped running now, instead standing still looking puzzled. Suddenly an arrow came from above ripping through the dagor's left eye.

Kathryn ran down the staircase to join Luke, who was now dragging the Dagors body and dumping it in the nearby well.

"You didn't need to be an idiot and stand there for as long as you did," said Kathryn, "the risk was far too high Luke, please be more careful, if anything were to happen to you I would be broken."

Luke looked up at her staring into her bright eyes. He wanted to say so much more to her but instead just nodded saying sorry.

The sound of more Dagors coming round the corner caused Kathryn to grab Luke and hide behind the well across from them. Angry conversations could be heard with around a hundred dagors arguing amongst themselves it seemed.

"There would not be this much uproar unless a prisoner escaped," whispered Kathryn into Luke's ear, "Let's hope it's Jason."

Suddenly Luke felt a tap on his back and so turned around. A dagor chief stood looking right at him. The brute lifted him out and chucked him in front of the angry dagors along with Kathryn.

"So any brilliant ideas of how to get us out of this one?" Said Luke.

Kathryn shook her head frantically trying to avoid the grubby fingers of the creatures around her reaching in to feel her human flesh.

"YULEVIA." Shouted a voice from not far away. A blue ball of light came charging towards the angry group of dagors causing them all to fall over. Luke turned around and ran over to the man who had just saved them. He recognised the man as the person who had been speaking to Mr Helm the day that they had left Vox.

The old man grabbed both Luke and Kathryn. Within a few seconds they had been relocated back into the plains of Dox.

"Well I see you two have met Kagorn then." Laughed Jason who was now standing directly in front of them. Kathryn wrapped her arms around him but then slapped him hard across the cheek.

"Oi, what the hell was that for!?" Exclaimed Jason.

This question was ignored completely by Kathryn who began to start walking. Just behind them stood Luke who was still confused about the events that had just taken place and the mysterious old man known as Kagorn.

"Why are you following me?" Asked Luke bluntly to the old man.

"What a lovely way to greet your rescuer." Chuckled Kagorn,"I do believe however I have an answer to your question. Luke, the quest that you and your friends have set on is a lot more difficult then you could ever believe. The sword of strength is one of seven forged to bring balance to the realms. Other people are after that sword but you must get there first and destroy it."

"Destroy it? You're having a laugh right? The money I've been offered to get this sword is unimaginable. Also you didn't answer my question at all. Why are you following me?" Replied Luke.

"Perhaps it is you that is following me boy. I do believe the map is rather hard to understand. Too bad I'm the only person here who knows how to get there." Said Kagorn.

"Name your price then." Shouted Jason butting in," and we ain't destroying it so don't think you can say that."

"My price is that when you finally decide to destroy the sword I get to say I told you so." Laughed Kagorn.

Jason shrugged nodding. Luke and Kathryn both looked at each other deeply unsure of wether to trust the man standing in front of them. After a few minutes Luke continued to start walking.

"So where to now?" Asked Luke looking over at Kagorn.

"The coldest place in all of Fardawn" replied Kagorn, "Winterwell."
