The fire was getting closer to the bottom of his chair. Damian Renway though it was the end for him. That he would die not knowing who killed his father. All of a sudden the fire disappeared and he felt no pain. Three men wearing hooded cloaks entered the room.
The first approached Damian slowly, "It seems a little strange that the prince should lurking around downtown."
The second then spoke out, "Yes it is rather strange at first glance but then you come to realise his daddy's dead, my best guess is, let's go round Skylance looking for the killer, genius this one."
"Who are you?" Said Damian.
The third man walked up to Damian now. It was the man who had followed him through the streets. "My name is Duke and we are assasins my lad, and before you start accusing us of murdering your daddy, you should understand we worked for him. Now to answer your question about why your tied up. We think you might have killed him. It's only precaution you see."
"What? I didn't kill my own father!" Shouted Damian confused by this accusation.
"Gremos, get the truth tonic." Ordered Duke to the smaller, chubbier of the other two assassins.
Gremos nodded exiting the room with the the taller, more athletic looking man.
"So after this truth tonic has been used on me, you'll let me go?" Asked Damian.
"Well it depends if you killed the king or not." Laughed Duke sitting down beside him and drinking a bottle of rum.

Not long later Gremos arrived back in the room with the tonic in his hands."Where's Randall?" Asked Duke realising the absence of the other assasin.
"He said he had to leave, important business or something." Replied Gremos who had no started pouring the tonic into a glass. He approached Damian and handed him the glass. At first Damian was fearful to drink it im case of anything like poison being inside of it.
He quickly drank it and placed the glass on the table. A few seconds after this Duke looked over to Gremos and nodded who exited the room.
"It seems you're innocent my boy, stay vigilant and remember to always keep your eyes open," Said Duke, "There is no such thing as truth tonic, you wouldn't have drank it so willingly if you had anything to hide. All you drank was a simple sleeping potion."
Damian's vision once again became blurry and slowly everything faded to black.

Damian woke up in his room. In front of him sitting at the end of his bed was Marie.
"You were gone for almost three days," cried Marie, "They had the whole city searching for you."
"Three days?" Said Damian, "Where exactly did you find me?"
"In the stables among the pigs!" Exclaimed Marie, "Our brothers are really very angry with you Damian. Apparently all of Skylance thinks you think the moanis just some kind of joke to our family."
Damian looked at his sister for a few seconds before climbing out of his bed and walking over to the stables where he was apparently found. He looked around for a while searching to see if anything could explain the events that just took place but Damian was sure a pile of manure wasn't his answer.
"Your highness, your presence is requested in the throne room by your brothers." Said Revenos, head of the royal Knights guard, entering the stables.
Damian nodded exiting the stables. "Even when I'm not in the stables I'm always surrounded by shit."
