5. Aftermath.

A few weeks pass. Eggman, as agreed on the meeting with Amy and the others, works with the Mobians to repair the destruction. Whisper, from the shadows, supervises the process, alongside Shadow, Maria and Tails, in order to not let Eggman place any traps. The war seems to have ended on a peaceful, yet controversial note. Many Mobians were still suspicious of Eggman, even with Tails and Amy's promise to ensure their safety.

The repairs continue, until the news of a mysterious person attacking Spiral Hill Village spread around. Sonic and Tangle leave hurriedly to investigate. There, they find most of the village destroyed, but the villagers passed out, but still alive. However, Jewel, Tangle's best friend, is still in her jewelry shop. Tangle goes to find her, while Sonic looks around for clues. Nothing comes up, then Sonic returns to the villagers, who regained their senses.

Sonic: So, do you know what broke the village?

Villager: No. I was working in the store, when suddenly, the outside went dark, and then I woke up here, along with everyone else.

The rest of the villagers confirm.

Sonic: Huh. Alright. We'll be investigating this situation. There is a village nearby. Go there and rest.

Tangle: Sonic!

Sonic: Hey, Tangle. What's up?

Tangle: Jewel is gravely injured! We need to get her to the hospital.

Sonic: Got it. Take care.

With Sonic getting Jewel to the hospital, Tangle decides to provoke the perpetrator into a direct battle. A human woman, dressed in a long, dark blue dress, similar to Medieval-style common women, showed herself, staring stoically at Tangle.

Tangle: There you are. Now, what gives you the idea that you can storm into my village and attack my friends?!

Woman: You must be Tangle the Lemur. I was hoping to face Sonic the Hedgehog himself.

Tangle: Well, too bad. You're dealing with me. So, put those hands up!

Tangle attacked the mysterious woman, who projected a warped version of a Mobian, who blocked the first hit.

Woman: For your consideration, I am named Silvia, and my powers reflect that of the Master Emerald, manifesting custom creatures included.

The warped Mobian maneuvered Tangle's attack and kicked her away. Tangle, the determined lemur, continues confronting Silvia, the enigmatic woman clad in a flowing dark blue dress.

The confrontation takes place at the heart of the village, amidst the wreckage of what was once a lively community hub. The sun hangs low in the sky, casting long shadows across the ruins, amplifying the intensity of the moment.
