I had agreed with my parents to marry Tyler, Tyler's mom was thrilled when he told her. Today was the day of the wedding. We had been preparing for this for the entire week. My parents agreed to pay for it, since they wanted this on their terms.

There were hundreds of questions on our living situation, children etc. I wasn't prepared to answer them since this was a fake marriage and I also had no idea when in my life I'd have children.

"Are you sure you want to marry Tyler?" My mother asked skeptically.

"Why don't you want me to marry him? Of course I want to marry Tyler." I replied.

I walked down the isle, my family one side, Tyler's the other, I looked up to Tyler for some guidance he was smiling. This idiot was happy to do this.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"Yeah, let's get this over with." I sighed.

We said our vows and sealed it with a kiss. Thankfully, I still felt nothing towards Tyler, meaning this marriage was going to be easy to end. After a lot of dancing, we headed back to my parents, of course this followed with twenty questions.

"Where are you going to live?" My mother asked.

"Obviously on campus until we both finish our majors." I explained.

"No a husband and wife should live together. I'll start looking for houses." My mother frowned.

I hadn't realised this was 1950.

"Mom!" I yelled.

"Mrs White, while I appreciate the help Sierra and I can live with my mother on the weekends. We will be looking for apartments the minute we return to campus. Isn't that right honey?" Tyler elbowed me.

"It certainly is my love." I cringed.

The pet names made me cringe but we needed to sell this marriage being real so that my parents would back off.

"Since I never married Theo will that jeopardise dads company?" I smirked.

"Not at all. The agreement your father had with his business partners was for you to be married within a week. It wasn't specified to who." My mother explained.

"So why did you choose Theo?" I asked.

"We thought he would be suitable. He has a lot of money, a good home, his own business. He's Ideal husband material." My father explained.

"What and Tyler isn't?" I snapped. "If Theo is so great you marry him." I added.

"N..n...no that's not the case. We just wanted you to have stability." My mother muttered.

"I have stability with Tyler." I barked.

"Well we better go. Thankyou for everything. Goodbye." Tyler said through gritted teeth.

Tyler took my hand and led me out to the car. I could see he was pissed, the things my parents said had gotten to him, I placed my hand on his knee to try and reassure him.

"Ty ignore them. You're the best husband I could ask for." I smiled.

"You're just saying that to make me feel better." Tyler sighed.

"No, you're funny, you know everything about me, we get along great." I smiled again.

"I guess you're right." He smiled back.

We came to a holt outside a pizza place, we made a quick stop for food, we hadn't actually eaten at the wedding, we arrived back at campus. I headed up to my dorm, Tyler grabbed my hand stopping me a moment.

"What are you doing?" I mumbled.

"Something I should have done along time ago." He smirked.

He searched for my gaze for some kind of clue on how I was feeling, and he kisses me, he's kissed me before in things like truth or dare and drunken moments but this was met with much more passion and feeling as opposed to the previous kisses.

"Erm.." I coughed.

"Sorry, I know we agreed to keep things platonic when no one was around but I couldn't I needed to show you how I feel about you." He smiled sweetly.

"How long have you felt like this?" I asked.

"Since the day we played house in Third grade." He let out a low chuckle.

"Really, why didn't you say sooner?" I questioned.

"I didn't know how to, and our timing sucked. I was always jumping between relationships and you were dead set on not having a relationship until after university so I never brought it up." He replied.

"That's sweet of you to say. I'm not sure I feel the same, that's not me saying I don't I've just never experienced love before besides, I don't want to ruin our friendship." I tried to let him down gently.

"It's a bit late for that don't you think, we are married." He laughed.

"Hmmm, anyway goodnight Ty." I kissed his cheek and headed into my dorm.

I had finally had a chance to think about everything Tyler had said. He declared his feelings for me, I felt guilty for how we left things and for not loving him back, I do care about him, but I don't know if it is love.

I've never been in love, so I don't know what it feels like. I do know that Tyler makes everything so much easier, he's always making me laugh and has my back in every situation. he stood up to my bullies when we were in Pre-school.

He's been the best over the years, I hadn't ever looked past the friendship with Tyler, it had never been something more.
