Somewhere in a village, a girl was running from something, something dangerous. She was holding a hand of another child, a boy.

Her name is Tomioka Tsutako, along with her brother Tomioka Giyu

When he train under Urokodaki, the Former Water Hashira, he tried to send letters via his master's crow to thank the person who saved him once, but never got the reply.

He didn't give up until he received a reply, the only reply he'll ever received as if a one golden chance in life

     I hope you're in pink.

      Thank you for the letters, I read every single one of the, carefully, your gratitude, your training, and two of your new friends including your words. I read them, carefully. And so, please send my regards to Urokodaki-san, your trainer.

     But you never received a reply from me right? Because I want you to forget me, seems like you're not giving up until I wrote this, hope you'll be happy now

Yes, he was happy that he finally got a reply from hundreds or thousands of letters he had wrote, just for this one singular reply from this person, his savior, it wasn't sound like a request but more of a command not wanting to write letters to them anymore
