Imagine being at your mothers (her name is Julia) funural but no one comforts you, later Klaus does.
Today it was 2 Juli. Your mother died exactly 5 days ago, because of an heavy car crash she couldn't survive. You were now at her funural waiting for everyone to come and say goodbye. Elena and Damon walked in and Elena immediately came over to you to hug you.
"I'm so sorry for your loss, y/n." Damon said and walked further with Elena by his side.
You quickly also walked further and u got ready for your speech.
You walked up the stage and waited for everyone to sit.
When everyone sat down you cleared ur throat as you began to speak.
"I'd like to begin by thanking everyone for coming to celebrate julia's life. My mom was the most incredible person I've ever known and I know many of you would agree. She was there for me when I was at my lowest, We didn't have arguments often. She was the best mom I could ever imagine." Tears came from your eyes.
"We will be going over there to continue." You said as you walked back to the ground and grabbed a tissue to wipe away ur tears.
Everybody said their goodbyes and when it was ur turn u started crying a lot more and harder than at first. You grabbed her coffin tightly and you just couldn't let go. Eventually someone slowly took you away.
"I'm sorry mom.." You said as you stood back alone with the tissue still in ur hands. Everybody had some shoulder to cry on, but you didn't.
Some time later you felt a warm hand on you're waist and you looked beside you to see Klaus.
"How are you doing love?" He slowly said.
"I-i don't know" You said as he pulled close so you could cry against his suit.
"I couldn't say goodbye, I couldn't say sorry and I couldn't say that I loved her" you said as you still cried against his suit. People started to leave and you and Klaus were there left alone.
"It's okay, love. It's all gonna be okay.." He said as he wiped away you're tears and took you to his house. Elijah and Rebekah came to you to give u an hug and comfort u even more.
It's gonna be okay.
