Imagine Elijah getting a bit mad but he didn't notice you lost your best friend.
Y/ns pov:
I was walking into the hospital since my best friend got hurt badly. It was 7 pm and I was sweating like crazy waiting for any good news about my friend.
I kept waiting for what felt like hours and then the doctors told me my best friend had passed away.
I was sitting there crying, alone, I felt so weak and I didn't know what to do. I got my stuff together and I walked out of the hospital not knowing how late it was. I was walking to my boyfriend Elijah's house. He and his siblings loved me and would do anything for me, I was practically family. I arrived at the house and I knocked hoping for someone to open it.
Klaus opened the door and looked at me.
"Love, are you okay?" He asked looking at my eyes who were red and my cheeks were full of mascara.
I nodded as he let me inside, I sat down on the couch.
"Elijah, y/n is back!" Klaus said. I already could hear Elijah walk down the stairs.
"Y/n seriously do you not know what time it is?!" He yelled, not even daring to look at me.
"I- I don't know." I got a bit scared, I've never seen Elijah getting angry.
"How could you break your pro-" he was cut off by his brother Klaus.
"Look at her, Brother." Klaus said. Elijah finally looked at me. He came over to me and cupped my face with his hands.
"Oh darling, what happened?" He asked me, I started to cry again as I hugged Elijah. I couldn't speak, I felt nothing to be honest, I felt empty from the inside.
"E-Evi died.." I said finally. Elijah looked up at me.
"She died? I'm so sorry, darling." He said and hugged me again.
"I'm also so sorry I yelled at you"
"It's okay, Elijah.. really."
The rest of the night he and I were laying in his bed watching movies. He also ended up going to Evi's funural with me. I did my speech but I couldn't finish it, it was too hard, but Elijah finished it for me.
