Imagine seeing Kol again after you thought he was dead for 32 years.
You were walking around New Orleans with your children Nola and Lara. Nola was 5 years old and Lara was 8. It was a peaceful day. Everyone was partying. You, Lara and Nola went into a little shop. And you bought them some magnets they liked. You went to pay when you heard the door open but you didn't care since that happens all the time. After you paid you walked to the door and you suddenly saw Kol Mikaelson. The guy who was supposed to be dead for so long. You last saw him when you were 16. Which means you would be 48 right now, but since you got turned when you were 18 you stayed young.
(Let's act like vampires can get babies).
You held Nola and lara close to you as your eyes met kol's. It was so weird to see him.
"Kol.." You said.
"Mommy who is that?" Nola asked.
"Um.. this is a old friend of mommy." You awnser. Kol smiles at you.
"Nola go outside with your sister, okay?" You said and they nod. They go outside to play. You look at kol.
"You died.." as you said this tears form into your eyes.
"Darling.. I can explain. This was for your safety." He started. "I am a dangerous vampire and people needed to believe I was dead, but when I got back 9 years ago, I saw how happy you were with you husband and kids." He explained.
"He wasn't my husband.. it was complicated." You said as you heard a loud bang outside. You ran outside immediately and you saw that Nola fell off the swing.
"Nola!" You run over to her and you quickly hug her.
"Are you okay, love?" Kol asks her and she nods. Lara walks over to Kol and hugs him.
I smile.
"Do you girls want to get some icecream?" Kol asks. Nola and Lara nod quickly and he takes them to the icecream shop.
[Time skip to the evening]
Kol decided to come home with you and the girls. Well, you insist. The girls were sleeping as you and Kol were talking on the couch.
"Kol.. What did you do in the time you were 'dead'?" You ask him.
"Nothing much really. I just missed you a lot." He says and you chuckle.
"I missed you too."
You hugged him and he kissed your forehead.
