CHAPTER 34: DANGER

BECKY'S POV:-

"What's taking her so long?"I
annoyingly tap my desk when 10
minutes had passed since
Freen left me to meet her best buddy.

"Did she forget that we have class? Or she's flirting with that human?!"

"Relax Bec, her bestfriend is
married" Irin chuckles.

"She's right young master" Non speaks as he arranges the food for us that made Irin squeal in joy.

"You foodie" Non chuckles and
we all dig in our food quickly that we didn't noticed that 30 minutes had passed until the professor comes in that made us go back to our seats after finishing the last bite of our food.

"Let's start!" He places his things the table and looks around.

"Where are Ms. Freen and Ms. Heng?"

"Heng told me that he will be
eating out with his family and he will be doing some kind of business" Non answers as he drinks his water.

"F-Freen is taking a call" I answered seriously then grab my phone out to message her when I heard Irin speak.

"But Heng doesn't have a family"

"Wait! Heng has a family?!" Noey asks that made me confuse and I know Non is confused too.

"Y-yeah?" Non hesitates to answers.

"But Heng is an orphan which is why we t-took him in" Noey mumbles and I don't why it made me nervous upon hearing that part. Why would Heng lie such
thing to Non?

"Alright enough and let's just start" The professor slams the table to grab our attention when my phone rings.

I quickly stood up and grab it from my desk.

"Rebecca Armstrong? Why is your phon-"

"Just a minute you annoying
professor! It might be important" I give him a death glare and answer the call without looking at the caller I.D.

"H-hello?"

"Hello dear."

"Wait~ Wh-who are you?" I ask
nervously as I felt goosebumps around my body because of the deep voice, making my heart skip a beat.

"I am asking who are you!" I shouted when I heard a laugh from the other line.

"I just want to tell to you that you need to be ready to say goodbye to Freen Chankimha"

"Wh-" The call ended that fast that made me slam the table in anger.

"Freen is in danger!" I look at them teary eyed, processing on what is going on right now and not knowing Freen's current situation.

"What are you talking about?" Irin frowns.
"Ms. Armstrong, if you're trying to joke around. I am telling you to-" I didn't let the professor finish and just run out
of the classroom and to the parking area.

"Becky! Careful!" I heard Noey while I was looking around,
spotting Freen's car at her usual parking spot.

"If that Sarocha is trying to joke
aroundI swear I'll kill that bunn-" I stop on my tracks when I saw Freen's phone on the ground, picking it up to be sure.

I saw 2 people on the ground a
few meters from me.

"Becky! Slow down, what if
something will- Nam?!" Noey
eyes widen like her eyeballs is going to pop out any second as she shouts and we all run towards them.
