I too, have skeletons I'd like to leave in the closet.
After we finish eating, we head back upstairs. When we get there, Eric suddenly jumps up. "Ah! With all that happened yesterday, I never had a chance to give you your gift." He walks over to his bag, and grabs the parcel next to it. Gift? Oh right. It was my birthday yesterday.
He hands me the package. I open it carefully, in case it's something fargile. Inside are a silver ring, a gold flute necklace, and a bronze head circlet. I stare in wonder. These must've been expensive... and that bronze circlet marks one as nobility. The lowest rank, a common lord, mind you, but still. And I've never seen one which had a golden yellow jewel in the center before. It's the same color as my eyes...
Wait. Thats not what I should be curious about. How did Eric get all this? Eric smiles. "I should tell you the truth, Isaac. I'm a prince."
