LUNA

Waking up next to Kyle in bed, she looks between her legs and sees his psychic face slowly dissipating. Rolling onto her side, she looks at him sleeping, her heart races, pressure sits on her chest, black dots swarm in her vision, and her ears ring. Pulling the purple blanket up to her neck, she rolls onto her other side, and she senses heaviness at her feet. Looking down and seeing nothing there, she gets up.

"Kyle! Are you asleep?" she says, standing at the side of the bed.

Opening his eyes, he looks her up and down and says, "What are you doing? It's the middle of the night/"

"I can't sleep!"

"Why can't you sleep?" he asks as he grabs the remote under the pillow and turns on the television.

"Ugh! I don't know. I can't sleep. Go back to sleep. I'm going downstairs," she says, as she walks out of the room with the blanket draped over her shoulders.

"Okay," he says as he watches her leave the room, he changes the channel.

As she goes downstairs, she jumps on the couch and lays down, tossing and turning while listening to the clock tick. As she lies in the dark, she sees Isla's psychic self appear in her space. Sensing she posted on her social media, she reaches for her cell phone on the coffee table and opens her page. Seeing a new post of her matching Luna, Luna then takes a picture of herself and posts it on her social media.

She closes her social media, gets up, goes to the kitchen, and grabs a piece of paper, a pen, and an empty small glass off the kitchen table. Going outside with the purple blanket draped over her, she sits in her chair and writes a note about Kyle. She crumbles the paper, puts it in the glass, and walks to the middle of the driveway. Placing the glass on the gravel, she lights the paper on fire and watches flames burn in the glass.

With the ashes floating out of the glass, her body is poked and prodded, and her shoulders are pushed on while the middle of her forehead invisibly drips. With it trickling down her face, she rubs it off her forehead with the palm of her hand. As she stands looking in her psychic space, she sees Geo appear, and she walks to her chair and picks up her cell phone. Opening the social media, she goes to his page and sees new posts on his social media.

Sitting down and closing social media, she looks towards the bushes and watches the glow bugs light up. Within moments, they fly out of the bushes and towards her, and with them flying all around her, they blink. As she puts her left palm, waiting and watching to see if they will land, quite a few flies around her hand.

With them slowly landing on her hand, they look at her and blink in a fast-paced motion multiple time. Watching them sit in her hand, she hears Kyle, walk down the stairs, to the front door, and lightly open it. With the glow bugs flying off her hand, and back into the bushes, he walks outside, and asks, "What are you doing?"

"I'm watching the glow bugs," she says, as she watches them light in the bushes.

"Okay! Just come in when you're done!" he says as he walks back into the house.

As she goes inside moments later, she lays on the living room couch, puts her cell phone on the coffee table, and closes her eyes. As she starts to drift off to sleep, she senses Geo posted on social media again. Grabbing her phone off the coffee table, she opens his social media and looks at two new pictures. Closing his social media, she puts her cell phone on the coffee table, and she watches Geo psychic self-appear and disappear as she hears Kyle lightly snore upstairs.
