Pink Lemonade

Packing

My mom gave us two bags to pack for the whole summer, I usually pack three. One time Michael caught me and said I was a girly girl for doing so. That was when I was eight and a huge tattle tale. I pack a cute lacy top, that would go great with my black one piece swimsuit.

"Did you pack enough snacks" mom asked

"I think!" I yelled in a response. " Pack your camera, you got upset last year!" My Polaroid camera was something my dad gave me for my teeth birthday. I'm still surprised that they sell the ink for it. Luckily it was sitting on the shelf next to me.

"What time do we need to pick up Levi?" Mom asked Michael while preparing dinner. " What time are we leaving?" He asked. " I think around eight" he sighed "around there then"

" Levi is coming to our vacation?" Why the fuck was he coming. There would be more arguing and mom hated that especially in a cramed car. " His parents are going out of town and Mike suggested that he comes with his instead of a boring summoner" she puts out some pork on my plate.

"Wings is mad!" Mike pointed and laughed at me. " I'm not mad, I just hate him and stop calling me wings" mom smiled. " Does anyone remember little coltan?" She asked while holding a picture.

" Yeah" me and Mike said in unison. " He's eight already" coltan and Collin were Judy's boys. " I can't wait to see them" I said happily. Everyone loved Judy. She was the most perfect person I've ever met.

" You can't wait to see Colin" he laughed and mom tapped him with her tongs. "Stop it Michael, angel has gotten over that silly crush long ago" I stuck my tongue at him. " Yeah Michael I don't like him anymore".

" Will you help me with the dishes Angel?" Mom asked, I nodded.

"I know it's been tough on both of you, but were gonna have fun I promise" I smile, my parents were going through a divorce.

"With Judy there, there's always s good time" my mom grinned. "Remember the waffle maker?" I laughed. "Yeah, I wonder if Mr. Dan is still mad about it" Mr Dan was Judy's husband. We all loved him. "It's probably cleaned by now" I thought about it. I mean gummies might be hard to clean off, especially melted ones.

I finished packing. And look back at my last summer scrapbook, mom helped me put together. There was a photo of a ferris wheel and some cotton candy.

Then I thought about Colin has he ever thought about me?.

In the morning Mike wakes me up and put our luggage into the trunk. Then we go to a rich neighborhood. Levi is one of them huh?. So Levi like luxury, where we're going there wasn't house servents or maids just us.

" Hey wings" Levi scotches next to me. "Shut up Levi" and took my surprise he did for almost the whole car ride.
