Seeing them again

3rd POV:

"what is this..." Yui backed away into a wall and grabbed a a picture from the wall as some type of shield

"fufu~ Yui-chan I see your much more defensive than you were before" Laito smiled at her "I can get used to this" he whispered to himself before licking his lips

Yui's heart was racing at a rapid pace as she clutched the picture frame not wanting to let it go "please...tell me where she is" she felt small, weak, and hopeless. This feeling she hated the most and she hadn't felt it in five years, she was finally healed and now her life came crashing down 

"don't worry she's safe" Ruki said taking a step closer with his hands in her eyeview 

"STAY BACK!" she swung the picture frame at him but barely manage to leave a scar but it was enough to make him jump back to where he originally was 

"Miss eve...we promise...she's fine" Azusa slowly stepped forward and luckily Yui could trust him a little enough to allow him to take a step 

"tell me where!" she looked at them pleadingly "I need to see my daughter!" 

"OUR daughter" Shin spoke up in a loud voice "and she doesn't need to be in this room right now!" 

"he's right you know" Kanato said "this conversation doesn't need to be heard by a child"

"Yui please sit down" Kino pointed to a seat as she sat while still holding the picture frame 

everyone sat in silence for five minutes before Kou brought up a conversation 

"so uh...how have you been" Kou smiled as Yui looked at him with utter confusion 

Yui looked around the room before swallowing all her fear and making a run for it before the cape of her nightgown got stuck in something causing her to fall

"is this Deja vu?" Yui thought before she closed her eyes shut and braced herself for the fall but opened her eyes to see thirteen men surrounding her and making sure she doesn't fall 

"You okay?" Ayato asked 

"how many fingers am I holding up?" Shu asked 

"did you hurt anywhere else?" Subaru checked her 

"I'm fin-" Yui said standing up and looking at all of them only to see them staring at her with worried eyes and some of them look relieved "what the hell is going on?" 

All of them looked at her and looked confused 

"why are you guys treating me like some princess?" Yui asked 

"isn't this how a man should treat his wife?" Kino raised a brow 

"well I mean yeah but-" Yui paused "I'm not your wife"

"technically you are...." Laito said 

Yui rolled her eyes "but usually you guys would punish me by now or something" Yui looked at all of them "what's going on? are you guys high?" 

"no, we aren't high" Ruki calmed her "We just changed" he smiled 

"aw that's so sweet" Yui smiled obviously plotting something as they smiled back before all of them got closer to her allowing her to crawl into an open and attempt to escape 

She got up and ran out of Reiji's lab and yelled for Yuuki, she opened the doors to every room but couldn't see her daughter no where, room after room Yui had no luck but soon she found herself in the room she never wanted to see again. her daughter wasn't in there and the room looked neat and smelt amazing, Yui opened the room door and stepped out.

Yui then ran down the hallway making sure to tiptoe and run on the carpet to prevent any loud foot steps, she turned to look back to see if anyone was following and sighed in relief after seeing no one. she hid at the end on the hall in a little hole that was punched into the wall and used her breathe to warm her cold fingers and wrapped her feet with the nightgown 

"Yui?" a voice echoed causing her to look up and back into the space more 

"Where did she go?" Ayato asked 

"her scent is still here" Kanato replied "and it's a lot stronger than her first escape attempt"

Yui's heart dropped, she hated this, she just wanted to see her daughter and go home, she hugged herself and closed her eyes tightly hoping they'd leave. All she could wonder is why they were being different 

"I smell her scent coming from over here" Kino shouted as a bunch of foot steps followed

Yui was screwed, her heart began to race, she shivered from the cold and from the rush of fear, her chest felt tight, but soon the foot steps stopped causing Yui to open her eyes and saw a dark figure that began to drink her blood until she passed out

She woke up in her old room and unsurprisingly one of them was there

She took a deep breathe "what do you guys want from me?" she looked up at them "I'll give you anything just please let my daughter g-"

"Silence" Reiji said before walking over and sitting down next to her 

Yui stayed silent and looked around the room for an escape route before a hand grabbed her chin and motioned her head towards them 

"If you ever want to see your daughter again, you will abide by our rules" Reiji said sternly making Yui panic 

"But you said she was safe" She slapped his hand away "where is she?!" Yui felt tears fall from her eyes 

"She's safe but she has the blood of our families inside of her" Reiji took off his glove and wipes her tears "we need her to continue our bloodlines"

"But what if she doesn't want to!" Yui asked "she's just 10!" 

"she doesn't have to but if she does do it, we need her here so she can learn her powers better" Reiji looked into her eyes "if she is around you, she could seriously hurt you"

"She would never!" Yui shook her head 

"she doesn't have control over her powers and she attacked you while you were asleep" Reiji touched her neck as Yui flinched and felt a sharp pain in her neck

Yui got up and ran to the mirror to see the bruise and looked at the mark, it looked like a normal bite mark but it was smaller and it wasn't as deep so she knew it was her own daughter that did this 

"no..." she said realizing she could have died by the hands of her baby girl

"if you want to run away, go now" Reiji stood up "but if you want to stay in her life then stay" 

Yui looked at Reiji and opened her mouth to give a response
