Notes:

This is Reader X Underfell Papyrus, usually called Edge.

He is one of my favorites, so I tend to give him a lot of attention.

You leaned heavily on ancient stones, letting your long gossamer sleeves ghost over the mossy floor.

"Lean back a little more, I wanna get some of the ocean in the shot, then we have to hurry down to the ballroom to get a picture of you leaning on the throne." Your agent Marve said. You were a pretty small-time model, but with promotion for the first fantasy game coming out to be co-produced by a monster, Marve was hoping to push you into the big leagues with these 'fantasy inspired' shots.

You had stayed up all night making the gown, painting beads until they looked like a belt of pearls cinching in your long flowing Greek bodice. The last of your fun money was sacrificed for a long platinum blond wig that you braided with the same pearl beads early in the morning. Then you had to do your makeup for the photoshoot, so you were a little done with his tone.

"Marve, chill we have the location till noon." You said, trying to get into a pose with your back arched, so that your long wig splayed over the stone windowsill with the ocean glittering in the background. You still wanted your face in the shot, looking serenely out the window.

"..." Marve suddenly looked pensive, breaking your concentration. Sweat collecting on his forehead causing his receding hairline stick to his head making it look thinner. "Well...about that...they actually denied our request because they said the site was unsafe, so we are technically trespassing."

"...Marve?" You said warningly, "Please tell me you're joking?" You asked, only for a sound like rolling thunder to confirm that no he wasn't. A shrill scream the likes of which you didn't even know you could make ripped out of you as the ancient windowsill gave way hurling you towards the paved entryway to the ancient castle you were unknowingly trespassing in, ejected like the unwanted visitor you were. Marve rushed forward and to your fury, the last thing you were going to see was the flash of his camera as he took pictures.

You hoped that there was an afterlife for angry souls, because you really wanted to rain vengeance down on your agent.

That's what you get for hiring the cheapest one at half price. You thought to yourself, one last dig before you squeezed your eyes shut and just waited for the impact. Instead, a sudden feeling of weightlessness overtook you. A sound like boots running over paved stones got closer and closer, and you finally found the courage to open your eyes as you were gently dropped into strong arms.

I should have kept them closed. You thought as you looked up into the red burning eyes of death himself, he parted his fanged mouth to speak, and you waited with bated breath for him to tell you that you were the dumbest person he had come to take in a while.

"ARE YOU ALRIGHT PRINCESS?" He asked in a voice that sounded like it had been shredded by barbed wire.

Why was that still hot? You wondered, nodding absently, you were alright, right? Nothing felt broken or even bruised. You felt fine, maybe a little hot under the collar, but fine.

"Thank you." You said softly, your brain finally catching up to the fact that you were not a splattered bloodstain on the pavement.

"Of COURSE. CAN YOU STAND?"

You nodded mutely, as he ever so gently placed your feet down on the ground, from the bridal carry he had you in. The monster had black spiked armor from his boots up to his broad shoulders.
