I look at Lacie and see her smiling from ear to ear, "So what do you think?" She asks, "About what?" I ask with a chuckle in my voice "Lands of course, I want the two of you to get married, and we will be sisters and all of you will have beautiful babies and Mia can teach me how to do my niece's hair" She says in a squeaky voice.
"Woah bitch, you have a whole life planned out with your brother and me, do I get a say?" I asked "Yes you do, you get to pick the name of the kids the two of you are going to have" she says while smiling.
Changing the subject, I say "Let's worry about getting some new outfits for this party that make us look like bad bitches, then we will worry about me and your brother or not. I vote not!"
As we pulled up to the mall "Let's go look bitch" I said as we climbed out of the car "So I'm thinking you should go with something low-cut to show off them gorgeous titties you have and then something short to show off that great ass" Lacie says while looking me up and down "And I think any color would look good on your skin."
I'm dark, not as dark as Markus and Mario, but I'm also not light skinned either, and I leave my hair natural, but it's colored pink and purple. We climb out of the car and all I can think of is Landry's words "My boys told me you got hot" Does that mean that Markus and those guys think I'm hot I mean I am definitely attracted to them all of them and I have had a crush on them for a long time, but they never really showed attraction to me, so I thought they never liked me,
"Girl, this would look spectacular on you" Lacie says, snapping me out of my thoughts. I look, and I see a pink strapless tube dress. "I think it would look wonderful for Friday night on you" One thing about my bestie, she has great taste and knows how to make me look great. "I will get that for Friday and you should get this one" I show her a blue halter dress with that will enhance her breasts. "Oh my God, I love it. I can wear the blue, and you can wear the pink. Now we have to find something for the masquerade party" We walk up to the register and pay for those dresses and leave the first store "So tell me what has been going on while I have been out of the social scene" Lacie gets wide-eyed "Girl, I forgot to tell you about the party last weekend I hooked up with someone" She says as I gasp! "Why is this the first I'm hearing of that it's been almost a whole week" I stopped in my tracks.
"It was Javon, and we have been hooking up since, that is why I have been MIA" We start to walk again" Does this mean you're off the market?" I asked her if she is dating. This is big for her because she hasn't dated anyone since her last boyfriend died. It broke her heart. I don't know if she has even hooked up with anyone since if she hasn't told me about it, and we tell each other everything "I mean I'm really vibing with him, but it's still new. I want to feel it out a bit more before we become official" she says shyly "It just hurt so much when I lost Cole, he was the love of my life but with Javon the other night it felt similar to when I was with Cole". I look at her while we walk with tears in my eyes and I see the loneliness in her eyes, we have had conversations before about her love life.
"Do you feel like you can have more than one great love?" She looks at me and asks "Because I don't want Cole to be my only love" We stop walking as I give her a hug. "I don't think we can only truly love one person. I think we could love more than one" As I said the words, I had no way of knowing how true my statement was. I wrap my arms around Lacie as we walk away to the next store, we end up finding the perfect dresses and the masks.
