Sitting in my favorite cafe,
Just my normal sunny day,
Alone I sat in a table for two,
People tend to bypass me,
They always do,
As the door bell chimes,
Another costumer arrives,
I unexpectedly had the glimpse of you,
In my peripheral view,
Wearing a black trouser,
You walked unhindered,
With coat draped on your shoulder,
You stood confidently unbothered,
And headed straight to the counter,
You scanned the surrounding for a seat,
Coincidentally, mine's free and well lit,
You walked nearer,
And I became flustered,
I don't want to be caught red handed,
So I nonchalantly turn my ringing head,
"Is this seat free?"
You asked mildly and gently as can be,
My introvertedness attacked,
And I nearly stuttered and crack,
You sat opposite from mine,
I sat there past my usual time,
I can't stay for long,
For my coffee had run dry long ago,
I headed out,
And thought that encounter with you will forever be cut.
