Forever. Maybe it's just a word we throw around too casually. Nothing lasts forever. Not even people. But memories? They stick around like that annoying song that gets stuck in your head. Y'know? Like the one you can't seem to shake no matter how hard you try. Memories; they have this way of haunting you. A way to keep reminding you of what once was and what will never be again. And maybe, just maybe, that's what forever is really all about. It's not about people, it's about the memories they leave behind. Because when everything else fades away, those memories are all we have left. Maybe forever was made for memories, not people. But what do I know? I'm just a cynic with a way with words.
