When You Know, You Know

Gideon
I have to marry this woman and now. I call my pilot and my driver and arrange things in Vegas. We can have a big wedding later. I ask her to marry me and she asks if I am joking and I tell her not at all. I loved her the second I saw her standing by her brother years ago in New York. She wasn't the person she is today. She was a spoiled brat then, so I never paid her attention although I knew she liked me. She wore some outrageous dresses to get my attention, nothing revealing. She just liked to draw a spotlight and did. She started some very odd fashion trends. It was like what would Ma wear next for a while. Now she wears clothes befitting her age and stature.

Mia
After I say yes to his marriage proposal he starts packing me some clothing and has me get my personal things from the bathroom. I can't believe I am going to Vegas to get married to Gideon Cross. This man does nothing frivolously according to Christian he had the Kavanagh Media company on his radar years ago, he was just waiting for the right time. We have known each other for years and I have danced with him often. He treated me well but like a friends sister. A friend that you want to keep. We are on his jet and both are working on various projects we have at work. I have contacted my staff to tell them that I will be off for a week and give them their assignments and call in others to get things done on time pay overtime and double time if necessary. We are going to meet deadlines if I am there or not.

Gideon
The wedding was beautiful and her wedding gown was amazing, but she was what made it amazing. We chose our rings and she chose her engagement ring. She wanted a pink diamond and hopefully heart shaped. They found one and she loved it. The wedding was simple and we had a minister and my security were our witnesses along with Theresa Prescott who was exhausted but she was present at the wedding. We sent her to her room to sleep. We had a small group of people at the wedding. A few wandered in during the ceremony. After that we went to my suite and enjoyed each others bodies until we fell asleep. Then we ordered food and drinks from room service. Our wedding made the news already, the paparazzi don't sleep that's for sure.

Mia
Mom called me and asked me if it was true about me getting married to Gideon and I told her it was and she cried saying she wanted me to have a big wedding. I agreed to talk Gideon into having a nicer wedding for family and friends. She was happy and she would tell everyone. Christian called Gideon and told him he better take good care of me. We got photographs of the whole wedding and the wedding cake. Theresa caught the bouquet and threw to a nearby server. We definitely are well suited for each other. Our energy levels match one another. We won't have problems in the bedroom or wherever we choose to have sex. He definitely works out regularly and trains in self defense as well. I am glad that Anastasia got me into training and self defense of all kinds it has came in quite handy. I have definitely used it more times than I wish to talk about. I have left a lot of broken noses, arms, legs and other things to an attacker.

Carrick
Christian has calmed me down about Gideon being married to my only daughter. He told me that Gideon never makes a rash decision about things. He said that he knew the two of them were attracted to each other for a long time before they got married. Gideon just didn't think Mia was grown up enough to have a serious relationship with anyone. He was right about that back then and I agree that Gideon was right. Now Mia is a grown up and takes things seriously unlike before. So we have a new son in law who lives in New York. I know they are opening a Mia's in New York, but I hope she doesn't move there for good.

Grace
Carrick has to calm me down because I hadn't thought about the fact Gideon runs his company out of New York and Mia might be moving there to be with her husband. I will miss her dearly. I have only one daughter, I have two daughter in laws. I would love to have grandchildren. But no one's pregnant yet. Everyone is so busy and I understand that, especially with Anastasia's work loads at the hospital. Soon she will be through her residency. Mia agreed to have a wedding for family and friends soon. We will plan things when she gets back in a week. I cry again. Carrick holds me and I cry myself to sleep.

Elliott
I just can't believe Mia finally got Gideon to marry her after all those years of having a crush on him. I know he liked her too but she was too immature for him at that point. Since she's been running her own businesses she has definitely grown up quite a bit. Gia is amazed that Gideon has really gotten married and to Mia. They went out on two real dates and eloped to Vegas. All of us are consoling mom and dad is upset because she is upset. Gideon is going to get an earful from our parents. I think Gia and Anastasia think it's very romantic.

Gia
I am with Anastasia about it being romantic, I think all his exes are going to be angry at her getting him to sign the marriage license.

Anastasia
I know Gideon wasn't his first choice to marry Mia, but she has been in love with him for a while. He said Gideon had a thing for her as well but thought she wasn't mature enough to get married back then.
