neteyam

neteyam was scared awake by a loud noise coming from the room next to his. it was his brother lo'ak. he heard his sister say something but he couldn't make out what she said, suddenly he remembered that it was his first day at a new school.

neteyam turned on his lamp on his bedside table and squinted his eyes as the bright light was turned on. he then hopped up and went to his bathroom that he shared with his brother lo'ak. the bathroom had a door connected to neteyams room and another door leading to the hallway which is how lo'ak got into the bathroom. neteyam wrapped his hair up in his shower cap and pulled back the shower curtains. after his shower neteyam did his basic hygiene and then headed towards kiris room. neteyam knocked on her door before opening it to see kiri running around her room like she was looking for something. "whatcha looking for?" neteyam asked kiri with a confused expression. "the green beaded bracelet that was my moms." she then replied still looking around her room. "this one?" neteyam asked while holding up his wrist and showing her the green beaded bracelet around it. "yeah ! where the fuck did you get that?" she questioned while basically snatching the bracelet off his wrist. "i found it somewhere around the house and i took it" neteyam shrugged. "mhm ... did you need something?" she asked her brother with her hands on her hips. "yeah, i wanted some of those spiral things that go around your hair" he replied as he was holding one of his braids and swirling his finger around it as a demonstration. "yeah they're in that box" kiri said pointing to a cute little box she painted on that was sitting on her dresser. neteyam then grabbed two or three charms that matched his outfit and proceeded to walk back to his room.

"LETS GO!" neteyam called out while rushing out the door. they weren't late but neteyam liked to be early. tuk got into the passenger seat and his other two siblings got in the back. lo'ak tried to use the aux cord but neteyam didn't want to hear his foul music this early in the morning, so he snatched it away.

neteyam dropped off his little sister at the middle school 5 minutes away from the highschool. he hoped that tuk could finally find her place her given the fact that she didn't have any friends at her last school.

as they pulled into the student parking lot they could see there were so many entrances and the campus was huge. neteyam found somewhere to park and started to gather his things. "so we need to find the office to get our schedules. and then i guess we go to our classes." neteyam said looking between lo'ak and kiri. "mhm." loak said while looking down at his phone clearly not paying attention to neteyam. "lo'ak!" neteyam shouted smacking the back of lo'aks head . "whaaaat." lo'ak said with his brows furrowed and rubbing the back of his head where neteyam smacked. "whatever , lets just go." kiri said rubbing her temples obviously annoyed. neteyam noticed that his sister was a little anxious so he grabbed her anxiety medication and a bottle of water. "thanks" she said smiling up at him and taking her medicine. "alrighty, come on losers" kiri then said hopping out the car. neteyam and lo'ak following her. as they start to walk out of the parking lot, kiri bumps into a girl with pretty long wavy hair , tan skin and big blue eyes. "omg , im so sorry!" the girl says to kiri. "no that was totally my fault" kiri responded with a genuine look on her face. neteyam looked back behind the girl and saw a really tall boy with long hair and piercing icy blue eyes. neteyam was trying to figure out this mystery boy and wasn't paying attention to what his sister was saying to the girl in front of them."do you guys need help finding the office? we can take you." tsireya said pointing back to the two boys standing behind her with her thumb and the cutest smile on her face . "yes that would be great!" neteyam then said to her, snapping out of his trance."tsireya i dont have time for this i have to get to class" the tall boy said to her. "okay whatever, me and roxto can bring them." she responded. as the tall boy walked away tsireya said "sorry for my brother , he can be a bit rude sometimes" "oh i definitely know the type" neteyam added while cuffing the back of lo'aks head, watching the tall boy disappear into the school.
