it was friday night, and after everything that happend at school aonung wanted to see how roxto was holding up. he opened roxtos bedroom door, not bothering to knock. "yo ro. how ya holdin up?" he said to his upset friend. roxto was sitting up with his back against his headboard, eyes closed, and music blasting from his headphones. his room smelled of weed, and low and behold roxto had a weed pen sticking out the side of his mouth, puffing on it. "yo bro" aonung said while snatching his headphones off his head. "WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM" roxto screamed at him, snatching his headphones back. "no. what the fuck is YOUR problem?!" aonung exclaimed, brows furrowed. "nothing. get out." roxto responded, irritated. "is it kiri? is that what it is?" aonung questioned while sitting on the end of roxtos bed. "obviously. i just feel like everyone in my life leaves me" roxto said as he started to stand up. "where are you going?" aonung asked the boy. "for i drive. i need to clear my head" roxto said while he grabbed his keys. "can i come with?" aonung said , hoping his friend would say yes. "mhm" roxto responded.

as roxto was driving, aonung noticed he was a bit on edge. he didn't realize it at the time but they were headed in the direction of the bridge roxtos parents died on all those years ago. aonung chose not to question it. roxto parked in the closest spot by the bridge and they both started to make their walk towards it. as roxto was leaning against the railing, his eyes started to tear up, causing aonung to place his hand on his sholder as a way to comfort him.

aonung wasn't used to seeing roxto so emotional. he was usually the guy that always had a smile on his face. he knew that roxto had to grow up way faster than he did, due to his trauma. nevertheless, aonung never treated him any differently. most people would baby roxto and pity him. but not aonung; that's probably why they were so close, because neither one of them had to put on a brave face in front of the other.

aonung pulled out his phone to text kiri. he figured she was the only person that could help his friend.

30 minutes had passed, aonung and roxto were standing on the bridge in silence. "we should... we should go back home now" roxto said as he started to walk off. kiri hadn't arrived yet and aonung was running out if options. "you sure? you dont wanna like .. talk?" aonung said with a desparate attempt to stall him. "we dont need to talk.. you just being here helps" roxto replied with a loving smile on his face. "okay but like-" "ROXTO!" aonung was cut off by kiri running in their direction. "thanks aonung, you can leave" kiri said, giving him a look that urged him to leave them be. "but i dont have a ri-" "neteyam can take you." kiri cut him off, yet again. "alright" aonung responded as he took off to neteyams car. he kind of forgot what his car looked like so he was looking into every windshield. *honkkkkkk* aonung jumped at neteyam honking at him from behind. neteyam rolled his window down and was laughing hysterically. "thats actually not funny" aonung said, with an annoyed look on his face. neteyam was still laughing, "you jumped like 50 feet in the air!" he exaggerated, his smile lines becoming more visible.

neteyam unlocked his door and aonung got in the passenger seat. "adress?" neteyam said with a question. "you should bring me to your house nete" aonung jokingly flirted. neteyam scoffed, "you're actually insane."  he then said, pulling his phone from his back pocket, smiling ever so slightly. "you're smilinggggg" aonung said, dragging out the end of the word and leaning over the center console. "am not. do you want a ride home, or do you want to walk?" neteyam asked, getting impatient. "actually i want you to take me to this party" aonung replied, taking neteyams phone and putting the party adress in it. "a party? are you serious." neteyam questioned, rolling his eyes. "yes a party, would you like to come with me?" aonung asked, knowing he would say no. "parties aren't really my thing ao" neteyam stated, looking down at his hands that were clasped together. "comeon bro, what else are you doing tonight? it'll be funnn" aonung insisted, taking his hand and shaking neteyam. "alright, alright. i'll go, but only because i know you'll need a sober ride home" neteyam finally gave in and started to drive to the party.
