aonung ended up texting kiri, and when she arrived he left. why would he do that? she was the reason roxto was upset in the first place. she was the last person he wanted to see right now. "roxto" kiri said once aonung got far enough where he couldn't hear them. "roxto.. im so sorry" she added, grabbing his face with both of her hands. he took her wrists and pulled her hands off of him. "you know. my parents died on this bridge" he said, turning around to look at the water. "oh... roxto" kiri replied, turning him around to face her. he could feel a knot forming in the back of his throat. he took a single deep breath and broke, face crumbling. kiri pulled him into a hug letting him rest his face in the crook of her neck. "kiri- don't leave m-me like they did" he said sobbing on her shoulder. "i won't i promise. i was scared you would leave me too. i pushed you away. im so sorry ro" kiri said as her voice broke and she started crying too. the sound of thunder filled their ears as it started to sprinkle. neither one of them bothered to move, they need eachother.
it started to rain harder, roxto pulled out of the hug, wiping his tears with the back of his hand. he put his thumbs on kiris face to wipe her tears aswell. he then took his brown leather jacket off and put it over kiris head. "lets go" he said while wrapping his arm around her waist and they started to walk towards his car. as roxto went to open the passenger door for her, kiri stood in front of him, pulling the jacket from her head causing the rain to soak her hair. "kiri? come on it's raining, your hair is getting wet" roxto told her, trying to grab the jacket she sat on the hood of the car. kiri stopped him, looking deeply into his eyes. "i can't just be friends with you ro" she said, looking down to his lips then back up to his eyes. roxto was scanning her face for any signs of insincerity. roxto lifted his hands up to her face, tucking her hair behind both ears. kiri suddenly smacked her lips into his, thunder and lightning happening at the same time. roxto melted into the kiss. kiris right hand was gripping his face, her left hand grabbed his right hand and she placed it on her waist. roxtos heart was picking up pace, kiri turned him so his back was against the car. they pulled away to breathe, not even a second later roxto went right back in, their bodies rocking against eachother with each passing moment. roxto tapped kiris leg as a signal to jump. roxtos hands were on her lower and upper back, making sure she wouldn't fall as her legs were wrapped around his waist. roxto brought the kisses to her jaw, then down to her neck, definitely leaving marks. kiri held onto the back of is head and neck while tilting her head up for him to have easy access to her neck. roxto stopped as he kissed her lips passionately for the last time as he placed her down. roxto looked at kiris blushed face, her bangs were stuck to her forehead from the rain and raindrops were trinkling down her face. he had never seen a more beautiful girl in his life. she looked so perfect, flawless to him. "you're so beautiful kitty" roxto says, kissing her forehead and grabbing the jacket off the car. he opened the door for her to get in. he got into the car, putting his seatbelt on and looking over to kiri. she was looking out her window at the rain. "nature is so beautiful" she says, still looking out her window. "yea, it is" he replied, staring at kiri and smiling. she turned her head to face him. "what?" she said, tilting her head and smiling. "nothing, i just can't believe this is real" he told her, doing the triangle method absentmindedly. "you can't believe what is real?" she questioned, her face flooded with confusion. "you" he said, leaning towards her. "of course i am" she replied, grabbing his face and rubbing her thumb on his cheek. he started to drive and once they were on the interstate, kiri grabbed his hand and held it.
roxto parked his car a block away from her house like he did before. kiri opened the door and stood outside with it open. "this is stupid, and we might die if we get caught. but do you want to stay over? its already really late and-" " yes" roxto cut her off. he pulled his keys out and locked his door. they started the walk to her house, it was still sprinkling but it was like mist. roxto walked on the street side if the sidewalk, letting kiri hold onto his hand. "okay we gave to sneak in. my window is open" kiri said, pointing to a window upstairs with a ladder leading up to it. roxto jumped the gate, lifting kiri up and placing her down on the opposite side so she wouldn't risk hurting herself. kiri got into her room no problem, but roxto was to big to fit through the opening in her window so kiri tried to push it up more, causing roxto to fall flat on his head. "shhh, my parents room is right below mineee" kiri said, helping him up. kiri giggled slightly, shutting her window and locking it. "success!" kiri whisper shouted. "im sure one of my brothers has an extra pair of clothes for you, i'll sneak into one if their rooms to get some. kiri left roxto in her room. he'd never been in her room before, it was filled with plants and earthy things. he sat on he floor waiting for her to bring him dry clothes when another door leading to kiris room started to open. 'it wasn't the door she left out of, probably her bathroom', roxto thought to himself. he was met by tuk frozen in the doorway. "i saw nothing" she said, turning around by her heels and shutting the door. the other door opened, "kiri, finally, tuk jus-" roxto stopped talking when he saw lo'ak standing there in his spider-man pjs. roxto covered his mouth trying so hard not to laugh. "why are you in my precious sisters room?" lo'ak asked, anger in his voice. kiri walked right passed him, making her way to roxto. "neteyams not here yet so you can change into these" kiri said, not acknowledging lo'ak behind her. "so you're just going to ignore the fact that i found a boy in your room?" lo'ak questioned, annoyed. "yes, yes i am" kiri told her brother, she started to grab her phone from her bed. suddenly, she took a picture of lo'ak in his pjs. "oh this is definitely being sent to tsireya" kiri said, smiling at the picture. "okay, okay, i won't tell. please don't send that picture" lo'ak urged, pleading with his sister. "thats what i thought. get out" she said to him, pushing him out if her room, shutting the door once he left. "i totally sent her the picture" kiri whispered to roxto, giggling.
"come" kiri says as she grabs roxtos hand and pulls him into her bathroom. she locked the door that led to tuks room. "arms up" she said with her hands gripping the bottom of roxtos soaked shirt. "i'm capable of changing by myself" he told her, swatting her hands away. she threw her hands up in defeat, "okay my bad" she said as she started to walk back into her bedroom. roxto grabbed her arm to turn her around. "well maybe i-" he was cut off from kiri kissing him yet again. he lifted her up and sat her down on the sink. their hands exploring eachother upper bodies. kiri began to lift his shirt up, still kissing him. he pulled out of the kiss, letting kiri pull his shirt all the way off. she ran her hands across his toned muscles. roxto looked way stronger without his clothes covering him up. "your clothes are wet too" roxto whispered to her, lifting up her shirt and aggressively throwing on the floor. this time when they kissed, it was way more passionate, like they needed, like their life support was eachother.
roxto found himself laying next to kiri in her bed, exsausted from the earlier activities. roxto was the little spoon, kiri underneath him, his head laying on her chest, feeling it rise and fall, listening to her heart beat. he felt the vibrations of her voice everytime she talked. roxto felt the safest underneath her, like she was meant for him. he forgot about everything when he was with her. one of her hands was resting on the back of his head, the other on his cheek, rubbing his face with her thumb as she did earlier. they both fell asleep, feeling completely safe. —————
