I slid the back doors open stepping outside before sliding the door shut. I saw Robyn sitting on one of the lounge chairs outside with a blank stare.
I sat beside her before bringing her in a hug. She rested her head on my chest as I rubbed her back. We stayed like that for a couple of minute just enjoying the silence.
"You okay big head" I said making her smack me on the chest. "Yeah, thanks for that nerd" She replied making me pout she laughed at my face and I joined her.
"I have an idea. Why don't you go get ready and let me take you out" I suggested she looked me in the eye with a curious glint in her eyes.
"It's a surprise but also dress casual, comfortable" I suggested she looked at me with raised eyebrows, then gave me a suspicious look and I replied back with a cheesy grin.
She rolled her eyes and walked back inside shaking her head, with me chuckling behind her. I walked back to the group as Rob went to go get ready. The two ladies looked at me

"Sooo" I dragged out confused "is she okay?" Mel asked obviously worried about her bestfriend "she is okay. She seemed a little upset and stressed but she should be okay" I assured them, "take her out" Melissa suggested
"That's what am doing. I hope you two don't mind?" I asked wanting to make sure "no" Jen said with smile "take care of her nerd" Melissa said making me nod "you have my word Mel"
"Am ready" Robyn said come down dressed in some sweatpants and a shirt and she still looked beautiful.

"Today we're going to have fun and yeah it might be some nerdy things. But don't worry about not being able to handle some of my nerdiness" I joked, she rolled her eye trying to hide her smile "your so corny".
"No am not. I am one of the most funniest people you know am way funnier than Melissa" She busted out laughter "yeah don't let Mel hear you say that. She gon beat your ass" I laughed along with her knowing Mel was going to beat my ass well at least attempt to.
"Here is the first stop!" I said arriving at the movie theatre, "hmm this feel's like a date" She said and I shook my head no, as much as I wished this was a date it wasn't "no, I would be honest I do wish this was date but I brought you here so we could have fun as friends" I answered truthfully.
I noticed her face turn red a bit and I giggled "plus you not ready to handle my nerdy ass" I stated smirking at her "and who say I can't handle you Bartholomew Allen" She replied I snapped my head towards her for her calling my full name. She went into full blown laughter at me pouting "what movie are we watching?"
"Honestly I have no idea" I answered she gasped at that looking at me with a really face "let's see the movies that you think are interesting. You know I don't really know much about movies"
"True"
We sat down in the comfortable seat with pop corn and a slush waiting for the movie to start. Honestly I have no idea what type of movie we are watching but I hope it's interesting. 2 hours later we finished the movie and left to go to the next spot, Ice cream Pallor. "Mint ice cream ew" I said loudly "you like cookies and cream you shouldn't be saying ew"
"Who doesn't love cookies and cream ice cream it's the best ice cream in the world, well after plain vanilla and strawberry" I replied "boring" I smacked my lips at that as we grabbed our ice cream and got in the car.
"Asshole" was my short reply making her laugh. I drove to a public park and we got out. Thankfully no one was hear yet so we had the park to ourselves for some time. We sat on the park bench just eating our ice cream and although it was quiet it was a nice quiet.
"I never got to ask you this Barry but why did you move to London?" The superstar asked, "what?" I asked acting like I had no idea what she was talking about. "When we first introduced ourselves that time at the mall. You told me you had just moved to London and you moved for a fresh start. So what's your story? Why did you move?"
I sighed "it's a long story" I said lowly, she grabbed our empty ice cream container and threw it away "I got time"
"You see I originally come from central city" she gasped at this " does that mean you have meta powers" she said sounding excited, I paused at that not knowing if I should tell her "no" I said deciding to lie.
"Your lying" She said and I looked at her giving a small smile "look Rob one day am going to tell you something important about me but not right now. The time is not right yet" I said all of a sudden noticing I was serious she agreed "don't interrupt me or am not telling you anything" I joked to lighten the serious mood, wow bipolar much.
She smacked me in the chest "Barry!" She whined "just joking. Anyways. I was born in central city, grew up in central city. When I was just a child there was an attack at my house I was about to get killed then bam found myself five blocks away from the house. By the time I got back my dad was being taking into a police vehicle. I found out my mom was murdered and they believed my dad did it" I started off I leaned into the chair remembering those bad memories.
"I tried to tell them that he was innocent that he never murdered my mother. That there were two others in the house and one of them saved me and the other must have murdered my mother. But no one believed me, they thought I had gone crazy due to the event. My dad was charged and sentenced to prison over a crime he did not commit. I got a adopted by a friend of my dad's he worked as a police officer, even he didn't believe me or my dad. He had a daughter and we were close really close. As we grew up I had slowly fell in love with her but she only saw me as a friend. She was really pretty, cool and I was this nerd who had become a forensic chemist for Central city police, working with her father. I was a big fan of Harrison wells so I had begged her to go with me to his review for his new technology"
"I never got to see it" I took a pause "Iris that was her name. Her bag got stolen and I ran after the thief so after that moment she decided she didn't want to be there any more and we left. Then the whole explosion happened. I was far away from it but it was still big enough to cause a big impact which led to me being in a coma for almost nine months. "
Robyn surprised by that said "Woah that's a long time" I nodded agreeing "by the time I woke up things had changed, Iris had dated a guy that worked as her father partner a complete asshole and I was to late to confess my feelings. Then I found out about meta humans and Iris father started to believe that I may have been right that they might be a meta human that had super speed enough to travel back to the past. I worked for Harrison Wells we had built a bond, I mean he saved my life. Then I found out it was him. He was the speedster that killed my mom." Robyn gasped at that.
"His original intention was to kill me but since I was saved out of anger he killed my mom. Iris boyfriend turned fiancé died trying to stop Harrison Well who really wasn't Harrison Wells but pretending to be him. Iris blamed me for the death. She didn't have to say it but she did. Wells finally confessed to killing my mom and my dad got free and as an apology he made me head of his company and some other things. Iris didn't know about it but she found out I was working in the company and gave me a chance. I was so happy I finally got the woman I always dream of"
"Am sorry but Iris sound like a user" Robyn said making me laugh. Now thinking about it, she was.
