Chapter 9

BARRY POV:

April 13th 2018

I can't believe it. I opened my first ever restaurant and not even a month and we were already getting huge amount of customers.

I also got into the gaming industry. I started a PC gaming company called Allen Gaming. We are also working on creating video games for game console. 

I was thinking about going into the music industry. Create my own music label and managing company but realized that would put me into the spotlight more, which would lead to central city police, Joe, Iris and Team Kid Flash knowing my where about too soon, so no.

Thankfully Oliver has been keeping my whereabouts away from them, cause according to him the are looking for me. I don't know why. They don't need me.

I was grateful to have friends like Oliver and Felicity. But I was most grateful for meeting her, Rihanna. 

I was grateful that she saw him at the restaurant eating and decided to come and meet him at the mall. Although looking back I am embarrassed that she came because she wanted to know how I ate so much without being fat.

But I  was still grateful. They've gotten a lot closer, even closer than he was with Iris. It's crazy cause he knew Iris his whole life. But yet someone he knew for almost a year managed to make him feel appreciated. Like he didn't have to force anything to please her. Just be himself.

I smiled thinking about the superstar I planned on telling her the news when I got to her house. I got in my Audi r8 and drove to Robyn's house.

She had asked him to come over earlier but he had to go sort out business first.  I knocked on the door waiting patiently when I heard come in. I walked into the house to see Rihanna, Mel, Jen and Drake.

"Hey everyone" I greeted Mel and Jen were excited to see me pulling me into a hug since they have only spoken to me through face time.

"Hey Barry" Rob pulled me into a long hug "I missed you" she whispered making me smirk I guess she sensed it "not like that nerd". I kissed the side of her head before we pulled away from the hug.

I greeted the artist " hello, nice to meet you" I said but instead he looked at me like I was some type of pest "just ignore him" Rob whispered to me.

I nodded "so how did everything go with your company?" She asked sitting next to me "great. The building is amazing, the new equipment's came in today so I just saw that through and I already have people applying." I said happily.

"What that's good?" She said excited for me "I could not have done it without your encouragement bestie" I said hugging her she hugged back "um, excuse me she only has one bestie and that's me. So forget it" Mel said making me and Rob bust out laughing. 

"Rob what's up with you. Am right here trying to talk to you and you ignoring me for who ever this nigga is" Drake decided to make his voice known making us stop our laughter.

"Let me talk to you in private" He said standing up, I could see the ego and arrogance all over him he walked to another part of the house like he was expecting her to follow him but she didn't.

"Who the fuck he think he talking to?" Jen said looking at Drake through the corner he was standing as he expected Robyn to follow him.

"He must of lost his damn mind cause he no better" Mel added while Robyn simply sat their "leave him. Now most of your companies are not open. How do you feel?"

"Good...." I got cut off as the rapper came back when he realized Rob was still talking to me instead of following him.

"Rob you no longer want to talk to me.  I call and try to solve our problem and you hang up. You no longer want to go the club with me or do any music with me I don't know what's changed but I miss the old you" 

He saw me holding Rob's hand and looked to have got mad "Aubrey I matured and I have a company to focus on now. So don't expect me to be at the club almost every night with you and plus I am tired of your games. You keep fucking up and then expect me to forgive and forget everything. You act like a grown child, you disrespect me and then get mad when I don't want to talk to you" Rob voiced out making the rapper frown.

"But I told you it was a mistake. Why can't you just let it go?" He asked I swear I so wanted to beat him up for how much he was stressing Robyn.

"CAUSE YOU KEEP MAKING THE SAME MISTAKES OVER AND " Robyn shouted before before pausing taking a deep breathe "you know what. Get out" Robyn said 

"What?" He said shock. "I said get out. You need to leave, I don't have time for your nonsense today" She said again this time Mel and Jen adding their own opinion. 

"Rob what the fuck" He said getting close to her making me get up and stand in front of her before he got to close. "The lady has spoken. " I said hoping he don't try anything.

"Yo who the fuck is this" He said staring me down "my friend" she looked stressed " Aubrey if you don't leave I swear to god" She said and I could tell she was starting to get angry "Rob"

'Get the fuck out" She yelled as she jumped up from her seat Mel and Jen got up clearly tired of him "sorry but you need to leave, it's obvious your starting to stress her" I said he needed to get the memo that she wanted him to leave.

He left but not before glaring at me. I noticed Rob had left to go outside, "Barry go check on her" Jen advised I nodded following the Islander to where she went.
