He didn't think he would escape from them, I mean; he's heard of the avengers but it felt so anti-climatic the way they stumbled over each other. He huffed, sneaking back to the original alleyway to grab the food that was left in the large box by the wall.

He checked over each fruit, food, or vegetable; picking them up one by one and tossing them around in his hands before setting it back in the box and picking it up.

For the remainder of the sulking walk back he kept his head down— hiding bruises and markings. Sure he was hurt but not that hurt. He wondered what the avengers were doing.

...

Natasha was rushed back to Stark Towers by the rest of the team as she could barely stand on her own, she couldn't blabber a full sentence, she couldn't hold her head up for too long, she could barely see a few feet ahead of her.

She was rested on the infirmary bed of Dr. Bruce's lab where she was examined. The Avengers didn't go into the lab, they knew that Natasha needed her time to rest and ease up while they came up with answers or conclusions on how it happened.

"I just.. I don't get what happened to her." Clint murmured, looking at the door of the lab as he leaned against a nearby wall in disbelief. None of The Avengers knew what had happened to her, and they were all understandably worried about her.

"She'll be alright..." Bucky spoke in a low voice, his arms crossed over his chest and his foot on the wall as he leaned against it near Clint with a small look of confusion in his naturally blank face as he was rethinking everything that had happened in the fight.

"She will be.. but for now it's better if she rest." Tony replied, he pushed himself off the wall and walked over with to the other two as he stood in front of the lab door. "But it just doesn't make sense."

"She was electrocuted, somehow.. but she will be fine in a couple hours. It was an irregular amount of electricity, not anything that a taser would produce" Bruce spoke up, pulling his glasses off and pushing them into his shirt pocket as he turned towards the others.

"So.. do you guys think that kid is powered?" Steve asked, looking around at the team as he spoke. " I don't follow?" Bruce asked with a slight scrunching of his face to highlight his confusion. "There's a man, stealing and... running around New York?"

"I'll check the city's street cameras to see if we can find him anywhere, let's just hope it doesn't turn into another Winter soldier situation." Tony mused as he turned around and walked towards his wide lab in Stark Towers to try and figure out if he could find the "vigilante" that they were all suddenly suspicious of.

"Oh come on." Bucky scoffed, raising hands up in offense.

After a while, The Avengers all stood around Tony's open lab and watched as he pulled up multiple cameras around New York, watching as some of them displayed the familiar stature of the shades and mask, and the large coat that isn't normal on warm days like now. The Avengers were all watching as Tony zoomed in on one, it was a distant shot so it was a bit blurry.

"FRIDAY, enhance image" Tony spoke, his AI obliged and enhanced the blurry image of a street in the day of New York, the man could be seen sneaking out the back of a hardware store; obviously stolen materials in his grasp. "Okay.. so we know he steals stuff.. but where else could he be from in the world?"

"Russia, maybe. He must be part of HYDRA if he's an enhanced person with that strength and speed." Bucky spoke, glancing over Tony's shoulder and watching the now less blurry footage of the masked man.

"Yeah but.. who's to say he didn't get sent out to another mission?" Natasha questioned, walking closer to Tony to see the footage better as she leaned forward on Tony's lab desk.
