Warren began to look around the room, trying to notice something there. Maybe a camera; hidden bug, but they were watching from the mirror, which he blankly looked at before turning back to the terrible interrogator."I told you, there's no way to get out of here unless you comply." Agent Rodríguez repeated, sighing and leaning back in his chair with his legs open. This was starting to last longer than he excepted, and at this point, he was getting annoyed.
"is there literally anybody else I can talk to? Do you know, besides you?" Warren groaned with an exaggerated sigh to make fun of Rodríguez, he thought it would be easier to do this than to comply. Maybe if I did enough, it would bother him enough to get someone else. "I mean, come on, you're not even trying right now, are you?"
"Excuse me?" The man hissed.
"No, no, excuse me, at this rate I could consider rejoining HYDRA. God, you're pathetic, if I'm a lost cause, I wonder what you are?" Warrrn hummed, sitting upright in his confined chair. "I mean- Jesus, if AI made an interrogator like you it would be offensive to AI. And AI is literally a robots Intelligence designed by humans."
"God fuckin-!" Agent Rodríguez gave in with an angry blow, standing from his chair while he grabbed his folder and shoved the chair away as he left the room and slammed the door shut.
.
"Yikes..." Bucky laughed as he looked at the screen, his eyes closed as he leaned back in his chair and shook his head disappointed. "What kind of interrogator does that?"
"Relax, it's his first real interrogation," Agent Hill said with a sigh, rolling his eyes mentally, since it wasn't his first choice to send Agent Rodríguez to interrogate anyway. "Also, if you think you're so good at this, go interrogate him then."
"What?" Steve's head rose from the palm of his hand on which he leaned as he looked at Bucky. Hes known that Bucky was not one of those who backed off a challenge. "No, Bucky can't, he's not a..."
Steve was cut off when Bucky stood up without saying a word and left the room, the door closed behind him while Bucky continued his walk down the hallway.
Bucky turned the corner and ran into Agent Rodríguez just as he was breaking into the hallway. Bucky stopped and looked down at the lowest man, with his eyebrow raised while his eyes focused on the folder in the man's hands.
Bucky gave a nod, with his eyebrows furrowed and his chin up towards the man who reluctantly held the folder. Bucky grabbed him and looked at the man once again before taking a step aside and continuing down the long corridor to the cell where Warren was.
...
He sighed as his head fell and relaxed in his confined chair for a moment before hearing the door open and groaned loudly and dramatically. He raised his head and his eyes started before Vibranium's shiny arm caught his attention and his shoulders tightened a little instantly.
"You? I didn't know you were an interrogator" Warren cleared his throat and sat directly on the confined chair, his eyes looking back at Bucky's deep melancholic eyes that seemed motionless.
"Yes, look, the thing is that I'm not," Bucky said shrugging his shoulders as he dropped the folder on the table, moved forward and leaned against the front of the table and crossed his arms over his chest. "You're an asshole, you know that?"
"Oh, don't give me that shit, you know he was garbage." Warren blurred, with his shoulders falling into Bucky's tone. It was strangely refreshing to hear it, maybe it was because Bucky seemed less... serious than he thought he would be.
"Yes, yes, it was... but whatever. You said something about rejoining HYDRA, does that mean you ran away?" Bucky asked, pushing himself from the table on which he was leaning and walking towards the glass. He ended up getting very close, close enough to notice all the small cuts and scars on Warrens face.
He blinked once, "Didn't I already tell you?", head down and his fists clenched and they fought a little against his restrictions, the metal power damper on his neck hid the scars on Bucky's neck.
"No..? If you told me anything I would know and wouldn't have to ask." Bucky sighed as he walked from the camera and sat back on the chair, opening the folder and seeing all the notes that Agent Rodríguez wrote about Warren. "I'm going to get to know you, one way or another." Which roused him to stick out his tongue.
When Bucky picked up the folder, he noticed the clicker, something that Tony probably made on the table right next to the folder. Curious, he dropped the folder and picked it up, it had a wide variety of buttons with a lot of commands and controls. Shock, lights, gas, cameras, microphones, all those types of controls were on the clicker.
Bucky looked back and closed his eyes with the glow and inclination of Warrens head, with his thumb hovering over the clicker as he tried to find out what would happen if he clicked on one of the buttons.
Shock. As soon as Bucky clicked on the button, he let out a low hiss of pain and his head fell against the metal restraint chair, his hands tightened into fists as he grinded his teeth before Bucky clicked the button again and the zaps stopped immediately.
"Should I keep experimenting or are you going to talk?" Bucky asked, his thumb moving down the screen and clicking on one button, then on another. He stood up again and approached the front of the glass, with his head tilted a little while warrens neck revealed itself a little.
"I thought avengers were the good guys?" Kenobi murmured with a moan, his chest rising and falling quickly while his head fell and his eyes closed with Bucky. He could barely notice a small smile on Bucky's face, and before Warren could curse him again, Bucky spoke quickly.
"He just got his VA. There is no one here but you and me." Bucky commented, his voice almost... assuring. Bucky laughed as he watched as the confusion embrace his face, his hands still clenched and his eyebrows sunked immediately. "I trust you... well, a little. And I don't need your supervision to talk to you."
...
The electricity in the room felt... weird. Warren could say that Bucky was telling the truth, the camera was turned off and the energy damper on Kenobi's neck suddenly fell off into his lap. He immediately sent a swell shock that shot the metal restrictions on his wrists and ankles.
"You have about three minutes before they realize that it's not a technical problem and that you did something." Bucky warned as he got up and approached the glass with the iPad in his hands.
"I didn't do anything?" Warren hummed, rubbing his wrists that were now bruised by how tight the restrictions were in his hands, bowing his head to crack his neck, the sound of his bones reverberating in the empty room and resonating in a disgusting way.
"That's not what they're going to think," Bucky said in a reassuring tone, shaking his head as he spoke to convey his point of view. "They will think that somehow you reached the electric mainframe and deactivated the comms and the cameras. Even if you had the shock absorber on."
"Why are you, of all people, helping me?" Warren blurted without much consideration of Bucky's warning, three minutes were more than enough to question him.
"You and I... you may think that your alone, but we're not that different." Bucky repeated, the familiar words made him bite his lip slightly. "You should leave." Bucky finally spoke up, side stepping the door. "Your cats in room 4D on the top floor, the stairs is to the left hallway corner of it."
"I'll see you again when they hunt me down yeah?" Warren hummed, "Maybe I'll help you out sometime." And he swiftly moved out— tugging a police riot mask on his face that he stole from a closet- for whatever reason it was there for and made his way upstairs— the minute the alarm went off he decided to book it down the hall once he went all the way up— sneaking into the room where Bucky said his cat was. "Stop right there!"
The minute he got his hands on Rose he ducked— Steve's shield coming up to launch itself into the wall behind his head. With his enhanced stamina, he took off the helmet and put the cat in it before booking it to the window and tossing himself though the glass— hearing the roar of Steve behind him.
