He walked into a alleyway, the rain that started pouring ten minutes ago still raging down over the city, he sighed and plopped down onto the corner of the alleyway where he used a few boxes to build a small makeshift shelter around him. It wouldn't last long, and neither would he, but that didn't matter.

He drew in a shaky breath, painfully curling his knees up to his chest and leaning against the alley wall as he tried to preserve his body heat which was useless considering his condition- and not to mention his enhanced abilities drained his body heat all the time.

The sound of a small meow broke his thoughts as he snapped his head back up, looking for the source of the sound, he stared around for a while before he noticed the glow of two blueish greyish eyes glaring at him from inside a nearby box. He stared back at the two eyes, taking in the way the slits for pupils were so slim...

"A cat." He mumbled to himself, looking right at the box where the eyes were hiding in the darkness, he moved his head closer- leaning ever so slightly forward before the cat growled and hissed at him. He chuckled to himself and moved back to his original position, mocking the hissing cat with his own small hiss before rolling his eyes.

"It's okay.. I won't hurt you bud," he hummed, pushing himself off his seating position and moving to be closer to the box, kneeling in front of the box and moving down. He stared into the box for a second and was met by a loud hiss and growling meow from the introverted kitty inside the box, he flinched and jumped back a bit- his head bumping a nearby metal bin and causing a loud clashing sound as the kid of the trash can fell off and rattled on the floor.

The cat let out a loud hiss and meowed even louder at the clashing metal against the snowy concrete ground of the alleyway, it ran out of the box and down the alleyway till it reached the end of the alleyway, the claws of the cat making a unbearable noise as it ran away from him. It's tail was fluffed, back arched upward and ears facing opposite directions as well as it glaring at Kenobi.

For a second, he actually felt a little bit annoyed at the cat before he immediately felt sad once he saw the way the kitty was so skinny, looking like it hadn't eaten in days or even weeks, so frail and so hungry it must've been. Poor thing.. he thought, standing up slowly and cautiously as he tried to approach the cat, but it ended up immediately dashing down the street and away from him.

Soon, he gave up and walked back to his makeshift shelter, he dug around in his messenger bag that he had been carrying for a while before finding what was left of his bandage supply, he pulled off his glasses and mask and wrapped up his ear. He was good with his hands like that anyways.

He delicately wrapped his ear, slowly he came to be finished with wrapping his bandages, he pulled his cloak closer to his body and put his bag next to him to use as a pillow while he laid down and relaxed his body. Hopefully he wouldn't wake up again in the morning, maybe then he'd actually be able to rest.
The next morning he awoke- unfortunately- from the sound of the city ambiance.

The city's population wasn't big, but it wasn't small either, it was just enough people for it to be loud. Kenobi hated loud. He sat up, moving into the corner of the alleyway and listening in on the ambiance to see if he could recognize anything, anything.

The loud chatter of old women gossiping, the exclaims of people trying to sell useless stuff in stands, the laughter and glee of little children, the sounds of bikes and motorbikes passing by his alleyway, all the normal things you'd find in a growing Russian city.

But most importantly, he couldn't hear the hissing of the small cat, which was nice, he didn't liked hissing cats... but.. he did like cats from the magazines he's seen on his first day of making his house a home. Maybe he'd see the poor little thing later in the evening if it chose to come back to the alley.
