A warm breeze blew through the grassy meadow, the grass glistened with morning dew. The breeze carried the warmth of the sun, bringing news of the first day of summer as it blew through the forest of "Celestial Pines." The forest was filled with life. Plants, Animals and wildlife of all kinds played without care. A lone maple leaf falls, blowing through the forest. It's said that if you look close enough a maple leaf can tell you its entire life story, imprinted on its leaf. The breeze blows the leaf through the forest where it lands on a doorstep. The doorstep of the royal council. You see here in Celestial Pines, there are 5 Lycan tribes that came together to build a community long ago hidden in this forest, they picked this forest because it covered over 5000 acres of land. Celestial Pines was the perfect place to keep out of sight in the days of olde because humans hated us. But we will get back to that later. The 5 tribes that make up our united wolf pack here in Celestial Pines didn't willingly come to this unity idea openly, at first each one of them wanted the land territory for themselves. But one Lycan came up with an idea that everyone was satisfied with. He proposed that the 5 tribes each send their best alpha male in the tribe once a year, on the 27th full moon, to battle it out till surrender or death. The victor would be named TRUE ALPHA and the winning alpha male's tribe would be given the title of royal. The royal tribe becomes the new council for the next year. Now mind you all tribes have an alpha they listen to in their tribe, but all alpha males must listen to the True Alpha as long as he reigns. But there is one rule no tribe may cross: On challenge day any tribe may send an alpha male to challenge the True Alpha, however, if one were to challenge the True Alpha NOT on challenge day, the penalty is punishable by death. that way there's only one day a year any tribe may challenge to keep it fair for everyone. Over time the world adapted, a huge number of Lycans nowadays live in cities with mortals, some even have mortal mates if you can believe it. Our pack has grown and we have an entire civilization here in Celestial Pines but to get here you'd have to take a dirt road across the meadow, but only those who know where it is can find it.  Our pack is the only Lycan pack made of 5 separate tribes, and is only inhabited by Lycans. Now don't get me wrong, every now and again we will get visitors and tourists in our forestry kingdom, but one rule to keep Lycans from starting war with mortals, we keep the mortals out of our Lycan quarrels. In turn we've had peace for centuries among the tribes. The pack is thriving more so than when they were separated, everyone contributes to do the best they can for the good of the pack. Don't get me wrong there's still a lot of infighting between the Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Western tribes, but that's mostly the alpha males trying to show off. It's basically a dick measuring contest between alpha males. They are usually debating which alpha male will be the one to take the title of True Alpha, but in the past 157 years only one tribe has remained on the royal council undefeated: My tribe.
