Chapter 4 - So it's a date??

You woke up, feeling energizes and ready for what was about to come. You got so caught up in choosing what to wear, that you forgot where to go. You're not sure if Chara even knows much about this town, so you don't know if a simple fast-food restaurant would be good. I mean, you wouldn't what to spend nearly your life savings on some fancy place...

...or would you?

After choosing what to wear, you go to the living room to see what Chara's doing, and... they're still sleeping on the couch. You wanna wake them up, but remember your deal with them earlier, and didn't know if waking them up would be bothering them. You decide to leave them be.

You kinda wait, sitting behind the couch for a while until Chara wakes up. You stay there, thinking about where to go. You eventually get an idea, and go to your room to get the money. You have about $98.67 left. You walk over to the living room again. Chara's gone.

You begin searching frantically throughout the whole room, finding no sign of Chara. Until, you feel two hands be placed on your shoulder, with a voice screaming "BOO" behind you. You jump a bit. You turn around, and see Chara, chuckling their ass off, still in their regular clothes.

"...Ha-ha, very funny Chara, now are you ready?" You ask.

"Y-Yeah, lemme just.." Chara trails off, chuckling. "Oohh man...anyways, where are we going?"

"Oh, just follow me, it's gonna be a surprise."

You hold your hand out to Chara, and they grab it. You walk out of what's basically your apartment now, and start walking down the town, stopping at what seems to be a Chick-fil-A.

"...You got our first date at a Chick-fil-A?" Chara sounded quite annoyed.

"It was all I could afford!" You respond. "...Wait did you call it a date-"

"Ha-ha let's not touch on that subject, now." Chara quickly interrupted.

"...Okay." You say, gently grabbing Chara's hand, and walking into the Chick-fil-A. "So, Chara, what do you want?"

"Just a box of chicken nuggets." Chara said.

"...Okay."

You go up, and order yourself a spicy chicken sandwich, and Chara's chicken nuggets, sitting at a table.

"So, are we gonna..." Chara trailed off.

"Hm? Oh, do what?" You asked.

"...Nnoootthiinn." Chara responded.

"...okay." You say.

You and Chara begin to eat your food, Chara practically devouring their chicken nuggets, and kinda staring at you. Once you finish your chicken sandwich, you wipe your mouth, and just kinda sit there for a moment.

"...Whaddya wanna do?" You asked.

"What?"

"What you said earlier, what did you wanna do?"

"Oh, uhh, it's more or so something I can only show you." Chara explained.

"Oh, then why not-"

"I-We can't do it here!" Chara interrupted again.

"Oh, I see." You say. You start to slowly realize what Chara wants to do. "Well, we're done with our food, we can basically leave, so why not..."

"Yeah, I guess..." Chara said.
