"Rey, don't you know? They say ice cream is the dumbest thing close to love. Though sweet, cold and cute, it is strong when cold but when time heats up, it melts and spills." Mia said with a weary look on her face.

"Yes, believe it or not I don't care enough for those silly things. Yes maybe our love is an ice cream, an ice cream that freezes as hard as a rock when cold and mushy as slime when on too much heat." I replied to her as I looked out the window. I can see Mia's weary reaction as her reflection hits the glass window. Wow, she doesn't even have an east end of the horse. In every angle, she looks pretty. While every time I look, it still feels like it's my first time seeing her, my first time feeling in love.

"So you believe in love-ice cream saying-or-whatever?" she asked. "You believe that what you feel for me is that ice cream, yesterday is sweet and pleasant, now its much softer than before and tomorrow is gone." She was sad, I can see it. She is weary. But, I really don't believe in what she says. I think she has her dumb side but it's not enough to make me turn away.

"Hey Mia, if our love is that ice cream, do you think it will froze up or melt away?" I asked her with a small arc in my lips.

"What? I think it will but I think it will not. I don't know, unless I know." Mia's answer made me comfortable on our topic.

"I can see how strong her feelings for me are. Now it's up to me to make her realize that I love her more that anything else." I whispered in my mind

"Mia Mia Mia. You're the dumbest person I've ever met, I've ever had and I would ever love" I patted her head with a smile. "I, no, we will never let our love melt away or freeze. Even if all odds heat us up, I'll freeze them to death. If they're to freeze us to death, I'll boil them all up" I can see Mia's smile, "Really? But I thought you said "we", but I think you didn't give me a part? You're so selfish" she pouted

"No, you have the biggest part. You would just have to love me more. Because I love you the most" I replied. Mia is blushing

"You're really an idiot. All the things that you say are corny." she looked away so that I won't see her red face.

"Now, where are we headed for? Let's bill-out" I suggested.

"Oh right, next stop is a secret sanctuary" she giggled.

We went out of the restaurant. We held hands and enjoyed the silence. We arrived at the place. She stopped. There's a narrow gap between two buildings, but wide enough for one person. Mia lets go of my hand and entered the entrance. I quickly followed her and I was wonderstrucked. I didn't think of it. I'm surprised. Then, Mia held my hand again and looked at the sunset.

She told me, "This is it Rey, this is where I go every time me and papa are on a quarrel."

"Mia, its beautiful" I looked at her face, she seems like a dream. The sunlight struck her face giving it a glow. She's like an angel. Her red hair appears to be on fire.

"Mia, you're beautiful" she faced towards me, I can't help but look at her face.

"Am I?" she asked

"Yes you really are. I'm happy that you brought me here with you to see this view. Its funny you know, we're like in a romantic novel."

"Really?" she replied with a lovely glare, looking me in the eye, holding both my hands.

"Mia, once we graduate, then goes to college and finish, let's have our wedding." "I will never hurt you; I'll care for you more, look out for you and never let you go alone. I'll walk beside you"

Mia smiled and kissed me. "You're so advanced, you're smart and I'm not, you're strong and I'm not, but all I have is that I love you more than anything else. Of course, we'll have our wedding years from now, you'll be the only one, my first and last, I love you Rey." She hugged me and we can feel each other's heart beat.

I wished that moment could never end, but...............
