The Fernandez family moved to encanto to start a new life, away from Dorothy's brother who loathes her kid's supernatural powers or as the people in encanto calls them a gift.
During their stay at encanto, they had their own home, Dorothy had a job and her kids found new interests and friends.
Y/n "Rosa" Fernandez, also known as the reader in the story, or 'the strange girl from outside of the borders in encanto' in the story. She has a gift of telekinesis, which lets her move objects with only her mind.
She has made friends with the two Madrigals her age, Camilo and Mirabel. She was also a friend to one of the townspeople, Elena. But a rivalry with another, Elora.
Miguel "El" Fernandez, a sibling of Y/n and the son of Dorothy. Another gifted child who was also known as 'the strange kid from outside the borders of Encanto'. He is gifted with the power of super speed, which he uses to run away from getting told at.
He is a friend to one of the Madrigals during book 1, Antonio, Camilo's younger brother.
Jheric Santos, a cousin of Y/n from her mother's Side. During his young age, he always thought people with 'gifts' are considered cursed. But at 19, he met a girl named Annalise, who had a gift. Though he didn't know until she randomly duplicated a chair for him to sit on.
Annalise Salvador. Jheric's Novia or girlfriend. Has the gift to duplicate items.
The two (Jheric & Annalise) went to encanto to join Dorothy's family on living there, for his father kicked him out, while Annalise got kicked from the town.
