---------------------☆

Muzan was a simple man. He had a simple goal. A simple reason for he is who he is today. One that anyone could understand. Right? Humans all had their own goals and dreams, why could he not? What seperated Muzan from humans?

Besides his deathly pale appearence, maybe his bloodlust or uncontrollable anger. How about his utter unimaginable strength?

Muzan could barely pity those who were weaker. He didnt have time to worry about lower lifeforms.

---------------------☆

Muzan Sighed to himself. He took this walk to try to calm down, to distance himself for a while. Clearly, it hadnt worked. His mind had strayed again- back to what he had attempted to forget. Except he couldnt, he couldnt forget it. It was one of the most important things he could focus on right now.

His hunt for the Blue Spider lily.

Muzan was unamused with his progress. His only lead was a rumour of a woman living in the mountains. He didnt know what mountain- yet- but aparrentely, she had found a patch of the Blue Spider Lillies and picked them. She then would make jewlery out of the exotic flowers and sell it. Her speciality were beautiful rings. Thats how the rumours got around to Muzan.

He had even heard once that she would make soup containing the flowers, but that sounded like a silly idea. No one would use his precious Spider Lillies for such ridiculous novelties. They were destined for something much greater, something that would help him take over the world.

And little did he know, he was so, so close to achieving it.

Muzan scanned around him, making sure no humans peering eyes had noticed him. He then slipped into a dark alleyway and slouched against a dusty wall. With one hand, he fixed up the wrinkles in his dashingly white suit.

He waited in silence for a while, before the distant pattering and scuffing of shoes could be heard from further into the alley. Two people stumbled into muzans veiw.

By the looks of it, they were drunk. They grabbed onto eachothers shoulders for dear life, laughing at every single word that came out of their frothing mouths, and occasionally just at nothing. It truly disgusted Muzan.

In one quick movement, Muzan appeared behind the two. "Huhhhh...What do you want..you..." The taller one yelled unexpectidely.

Muzan winced at the loud noise.

"uh...you...-" The man searched for an insult, eyeing Muzan up and down trying to find something- anything, he could turn into an insecurity.

It didnt work on muzan. He grabbed the man with one hand firmly around his neck.

"Finish that scentence." Muzan spat, the corners of his mouth poking up in disgust, revealing his fangs to the dull moonlight. The mans eyes widened in shock as he was lifted off the floor.

He weakly clawed at Muzans hands, trying to escape as he made sputtering and struggling noises.

"Its useless." Added Muzan codly, dropping the man with a painful thud.

The man placed his hand over the red mark Muzan had left, shuddering in fear and pain. He made loud gasps for air as he attempted to crawl away.

Muzan brushed his hand on his pants, as if he was disgusted by merely touching the human.

And he was. He truly was.

The man had spat all over his hand. Muzan internally winced as he 'ruined' his pair of pants.

"Are you going to finish the scentence?" Muzan hissed suddenly, pinning his leg down in the blink of an eye. A threatening silence filled the air. He was growing impatient.

"Answer me." His voice grew more demanding, his eyes now revealed to their true form. Plum-red and cat-like. He eyed the slurring man below him like a predator infront of flailing prey.

Exactly what it was.

"Holy shittt, dude..." The man continued, not realising answering would certainly kill him. "Why the.. fuck.. are you so cold..?" He whined, rubbing the red mark that wrapped around his neck.

Muzan snapped.

"Cold? What, do i seem dead to you?" Muzan threatingly grabbed onto his leg with a inhumane grip, twisting it in a motion that drived out a yelp of pain from the cowering victim.

"Do i seem pale? Deathly pale?" Muzan rambled on, his eyes widening sadistically as he continued.

"Do i look human?"

The man layed silently on dirty floor, his faced twisted in pain. Within moments of Muzan asking him the question, the man opened his mouth to insult him yet again. This time, he was cut off by a sickening crack. The man cried in pain, only to have Muzan place a large hand over his mouth.

"Do i look human." He clenched his jaw.

It was less of a question and more of a reassurement. Muzan sighed and stood up, ignoring the trembling man below him.

"Disgusting. Get out of my sight."

He turned around and slowly walked away, passing the other drunk who could only stand in horror and watch. Muzan had enough of this already. He wanted to return home to his study. In a clean swipe, muzan decapitated the man and continued walking, kicking the rolling head as it fell to the floor towards him.

Great, another ruined pair of perfectly ok clothes.

This stroll was going 'just great' for Muzan. Just another reason to fuel his desire to bring a painful end to humanity. Just the thought almost made him less angry.

Muzan stopped. He sensed a demon nearby.

Only a lower Moon. He was seriously going to have to do something about them.

Later, though. Why was he follwing me? What an invasion of personal space. I dont want to be visited unless i call for you, idiot.

He looked up to where a demon was perched untop a dark building.

"Muzan."

The demon bowed respectfully, hopping off the roof and landing cleanly infront of him. He dared not to look up.

"What." Muzan spat, clearly fustrated.

"We have a lead on the Womans location." The demon winced at Muzans tone, still bowing.

Muzan raised a brow and placed his hands in his pockets. "Is that so?" He sounded excited- almost happy.

Something that would most likley only happen once- and never again.
