"Every time I slip into the ocean, it's like going home."

As I tie my bikini around my body I throw a graphic tee over my small body and slide on my flip flops.

I grab my phone checking the time. 5:55 AM.

Just in time for sunrise. I grab my phone, keys and an extra change of shirt, and a small towel and leave my dorm. I walk down the hallway and down to the parking lot and hop inside my car.

Campus was quiet, you didn't see not one person in sight, I guess everyone partied a little to hard last night.

Getting inside my car I buckle up my seatbelt and send a quick text to Rya letting her know that I went for a morning swim so she doesn't get worried when she wakes up.

I drive out of campus and start my route to Malibu Beach.

Arriving at the beach I park my car and leave my phone and wallet inside the car and only take my keys towel and my extra shirt.

When swimming I didn't want no distractions which Is why I either leave my phone at the dorm or in my car.

I walk along the board walk as now its empty. I could hear the ocean waves calmly crush across the sand.

As I finally make it down, I realized I had the beach all to myself and only seagulls were in sight. I place down my stuff not too close or far away from the water and pull my tee through my head   exposing my body.

The wind immediately rushes through my skin giving me goosebumps. It was a chilly morning but I didn't care.

I run to the waves and dive right into the water. Coming up for air I could already feel my body shivering but I swim deeper in trying to calm myself.

Floating calmly on my back taking in the chill waves underneath me I close my eyes.

I run down into the water swimming up to mummy as she sets her soul free floating on her back I give her a puzzled look at how she's able to do that without the water swallowing her body whole.

Her beautiful hazel eyes are now closed exposing her long lashes.

I swim closer to her seeing her body completely relaxed. "Mummy?"

She opens her eyes lightly not moving from her position giving me a small smile and giving the invitation to join her.
