Alex POV-

In most dreams your supposed to find some sense of satisfaction. A dream is supposed to be something so intricate, so undeniably correct, it's supposed to correspond to the way your feeling. And it's supposed to give you the answer to all your problems.
Or... a dream is something so damn vivid that any idiot could put the prices together like a puzzle.

I think that also corresponds to the way psychiatrists are taught.

One way, one reason, one out come.

Do you understand?

See, as a child I was taught a few important bits of knowledge.

1. Though your told its okay to be yourself, what you should actually do is create some alter ego that at the end of the day you can remove at will, when alone of course. You wouldn't want the real you to peak out when someone is around, that's just blasphemous.

2. Not everyone is the same. (simple enough right?)

3. Well, it just sounds better if I have three reasons.

But that's the thing. psychiatrists are taught a specific way to listen, and a specific way to react.
What they have not been taught is the fact that 1 diagnosis for 1 person can be completely different then a diagnosis for another person.

Though this seems like commen sense, don't be mad, they can't help it.
Getting things through their thick skulls is just too much to ask for.

"ALEX. "
"Huh? " I questioned being pulled out of my previous train of thought.
Margaret looked at me. My trustee therapist.
"I was just asking how you've been latley? Made any progress? Any friends?"
i instantly cracked a smirk, thinking about earlier today with Jared. This should be good.
