"Miss," He said slowly as each word agonized him.

I timidly answered "yes."

"Do you know who I am?" The strange horned creature spoke once again.

"No sir, I just want to know what your relation is grandmum" I spoke quietly but surely. He blinked like he did not understand.

He started to chuckle. "She kept a promise to her grave."

I was scared, and suddenly the man said. " You have taken my interest. "

Blankly I stared at him and backed up into the wooden frame of the attic.

"Ahh, don't leave. I will not hurt you I give you my word."

"Mama, says not to talk to people that ever say that!" I said

"Hmph," he started to chuckle.

"Miss? what is your name.?"

Looking around he didn't seem scary he looked nice, maybe he just wanted a friend. I would want a friend to if I was stuck in a stinky attic.

"You can't tell mama I told you ok? But I am Camila ."

He watched me I tried to do the new curtsey mama taught me. My light blonde hair was showering my face as I looked up into giggles.

"The name means innocent correct?" as he kneeled down fixing the hair out of my small face. I nodded as I corrected my knees to be standing proudly.

"Well, Camila when you grow older I'll see you. Also, bend not bow when you curtsey." With that, I was outside the attic with it locked again

"See you soon." The words were echoing within the flowers against the walls. As they seemed to wave with an unknown braze. My hands clutched a journal, in my handwriting stood my diary. He gave me a gift! It was pretty, and I was happy. Daddy would love my new gift! I need to show him!
