Vanya kept her promise, in meeting me outside her apartment. Since I didn't have anything to do, I just waited outside. It wasn't uncommon, I've waited days outside a place before so a few hours was nothing. We soon arrived at the massive building. "It's a big building, so stay close."
"Yes ma'am." I sault her jokingly. Following her through the gate and door, I stared in awe at the insides. "Woah..." Vanya ignores me, calling out Five. I tried staying with her, following her voice as she calls Five, but I got a little distracted. There was just so many places to look at. It felt wrong being in here; everything was so fancy. "Vanya?" Looking around, I realised I lost her. "Ah crap..." Rather than continuing forward, I backtracked to the front, hoping to catch someone.
"Vic?" Hearing my nickname, I spun, coming face-to-face with Five.
"Five! Hi!" I wave at him. "Did you see Vanya?"
"I did... How did you get here?"
"Vanya took me here. Was I not meant to?"
"No, it's fine. I was meant to take you with me..." He seems to be lost in thought, until the tall skinny man in a suit spoke.
"Who is this Five? Did you go and get yourself a girlfriend already?"
"He wishes, I'm a gold mine." I joke, taking the mans hand. "Hi, I'm Victoria."
"Klaus." I was about to say something but Five cut me off, taking my hand out of the mans.
"Don't touch her, I don't want you passing anything to her. Ow!" I smacked him with me free hand.
"Be kinder to your family." He just rolls his eyes at me.
"Yeah, be kinder to your big brother."
"I'm older than you." He replies, still holding my hand. "Wait here. Come with me Vic." He pulls me after him, leaving his brother on the stairs.
"Since when was I Vic? It's only been a day." I laugh, still following him upstairs.
"It's been a lot longer than that; for me at least." We finally reach a room. "Wait in here, I shouldn't be too long."
"Wait!" I catch his arm before his leaves. "What am I meant to do?"
"I don't know..." He looks around his room. "Go through my things if you want; I know things about you."
"That's something I'm not too sure about... How do I know you're telling the truth?"
"Question me?" He raises an eyebrow, his tone making it seem like an obvious thing.
"Oh, um right..."
"I'll be vague enough that you'll get it, without outright saying it outloud."
"Makes sense... What could I have told you in 8 years? What... Body part am I missing?"
"Kidney." I was a little shocked he answered so quick.
"Luckly guess... How many siblings do I have?"
"None, only child."
"When's my birthday?"
"Never told me."
"Where do I live?"
"Wherever is safest."
"O-oh, so you know a lot about my past... But they could also be be good guesses... Oh! I know." Five just rasies his eyebrow again. "If you knew me for 8 years, tell me something only I would know."
"You've never had a period."
"O-oh... Oh. So you do know me..."
"Anything else you want to ask?" I thought about asking about my death, but remembering his face when he brought it up, I shook my head.
